This past week I was over 8,000 miles away from all that I knew, yet this place felt like home. My heart was was content.
I felt like I was right where God wanted me; that He created me for a time such as that.
Africa, and being with these kids, quickly became a place where I was able to meet God in such surreal ways.

While being there, I had been given the opportunity to speak to a group of people at a church service, and share my testimony of all the ways God has shown up throughout my life.
I was able to tell them about a God who is love, who is eagerly waiting to have an encounter with each and every one of them.
I was able to create bonds and share such special moments with everyone I met.

God began setting my heart on fire in ways I didn’t know were even possible; He planted more seeds and grew passions that already existed to a deeper extent.
I left a part of my heart in Africa with those kids.
I came to minister to them, yet they so deeply moved and touched my very own heart.
They welcomed me and showered me with joy. They shown me a love I didn’t know even existed.

Our Heavenly Kingdom will grow by by keeping a soft heart.
