Today is five years since Kabul fell and the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.

In a place where you could be killed for your art, brave Afghan women are painting in secret and their work is being smuggled out to Northern Ireland.

My documentary ‘Birds of Freedom’ paints the picture of the realities living as a woman is in the Taliban state, and how the work of two individuals in Belfast are helping keep their art alive.

A very special thank you to everyone involved who made this documentary possible. Thank you for sharing your stories, and welcoming me to Belfast.

Final day hosting at Lord’s Cricket Ground for @londonspirit at @thehundred 🏏

I had the pleasure of interviewing the legendary @stuartbroad and Michael Atherton along with asking 25,000 people to cheer on their home team and lighting up Lord’s the @homeofcricket ! The women won but the men lost, regardless @jjiszatt kept us dancing with her tuuunnneeessss!!

I’m going to miss presenting next to my dance partner who always has a dad-joke up his sleeve @presenting_jrob and I‘ll miss @rachaelallum singing some production directions into my ears and believing in me so much, you guys are really the best.
@natalieaston96 and @jonathanaday you are amazing and kept me so on track when it felt like I was in a whirlwind of excitement!
And finally a big thank you to everyone at @progressprods, I can’t believe how fast it’s all gone… but it’s not over yet 👀

I have all my fingers crossed that the women will make it to the eliminators🤞

WOMEN’S RUGBY WORLD CUP 2025 🏉🏆🌹

Wowee, what an incredible end to summer

Last month, I had the pleasure to host the Women’s @rugbyworldcup at Brighton and at @batterseapwrstn for their Official Fan Zones.

It was a historic event to be a part of, from seeing the fans erupt with the England winners to interviewing ex- @redrosesrugby players. I was even lucky enough to be involved with the @bbcintroducing artists and even DJ the Final (both pre&post match!) 🕺

LES GETS 2026 @uci_mtbworldseries 🚵‍♀️

I don’t think I will ever floor manage such a crazy, incredible and fun event again in my life. About two thirds of a way through the the Mountain Biking World Cup, we landed in historic @lesgetsofficiel

Work hard, party hard.

During the days I worked hard to help produce an unforgettable show for the fans, and in the nights I partied with those fans! With flares, flags and (safe) chainsaws, it’s impossible to avoid the after parties. Around all this, I went on alpine rollercoasters and even managed to actually try downhill mountain biking for the first time 🚴‍♀️

My role as the Floor Manager is to work with the presenters, producers, riders and clients to help produce an entertaining show before, during and after the races. This can look like editing videos, writing scripts, filming live, cueing presenters/DJs, organising trophies and directing the podium ceremony. As you can see, this weekend is a one-in-a-lifetime event and having this role has meant a lot for me. It’s rare to work a job where every single person involved is lovely and kind, but this job has truly been a dream.

This weekend was extra special, as I also picked up a DJ set at @barbylonelesgets for the Sunday After Party, thanks to the amazing @_djvinc_ 🎧

It is approaching 5 years since Kabul fell and the Taliban took control of Afghanistan. When this happened, life changed for everyone in Afghanistan- but especially the women and girls. Human rights such as education, art and music were stripped. Still today you can be arrested for playing a song, painting a picture or even trying to educate yourself.

Last weekend, I was honoured to join @beyondskinmedia for the launch of their exhibition in the @eastsideartsbel centre. Unlike any usual art exhibitions, this art has been smuggled out of Afghanistan and is on sale for 100% of the money to go back to the artists. I had the privilege to film a documentary about this, told by two incredible individuals. Alina fled Afghanistan and now lives her dream of studying art. Darren helped her journey, and now helps others in Afghanistan.

Travelling across the mountains of France, Austria and Switzerland for the @uci_mtbworldseries 🚵‍♀️

Things I have learnt:

1. Loudenville, Legogang & Lenzerheide are beautiful places (even when it’s not snowy)🩵
2. Working with an incredible team starts to feel like family, and I am so thankful to @aditvled 🫶
3. I can win a game of nail and hammer against a group of lads 😉💪
4. Downhill mountain biking is my new favourite sport 🗻
5. It takes two hands to hold a jeroboam of bubbles 🍾
6. Saying yes to this mountain biking world tour was one of the best decisions 🙏

I cannot wait to be working with the most amazing people across Italy, France, Canada and the USA over the next few months 🌍 taken in Lenzerheide by @hannahbragman

48 hours at the T100 Pamplona…

T100 PAMPLONA 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

What an honour to be bilingually hosting the @t100triathlon in Spain! In the beautiful northern region of @visitnavarra, it was the most incredible weekend.

Here’s a snippet of my work from the weekend, and for me it was a biggie. Two major achievements; presenting in Spanish and English, and having a broadcasting debut as they took my announcing live on TV!

As it was @earthhouruk last night, here was my TV news report I produced for the event on @citylondonnews 🌍

An hour each year where over 190 countries take part in switching off about 18,000 landmarks, to show respect to the environment. Starting from one small team in Australia to now a global moment.

With the University of Greenwich having recorded 180, Kingston University having 143 and University of Westminster with 125 estranged students last year.
