I’m so excited for my next season as a Jette Parker Artist at the Royal Ballet and Opera! 🥳💛

I’m so happy to be diving into such a varied year. I’m especially delighted to be returning to Die Zauberflöte as Erste Dame, the production in which I made my RBO debut. Alongside that, I’m really looking forward to the new roles I’ll be exploring, another recital, and a few super exciting covers! 🤩
I feel very lucky to be on this journey, and deeply grateful to work alongside such world-class artists and colleagues ✨ by @hannahedmunds1

I am beyond excited to finally announce that I will be a Jette Parker Artist at the Royal Opera House in London for the next two years! 🤩🎉
This wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for my loved ones, the great masters program at KHiO and my two guiding stars, Elizabeth and Matthew. My teachers and friends for many years. Thank you for believing in me and for giving your all to get me here. I could never have done it without you! ❤️

Also very excited to live in my second home country and in one of my favourite cities🥹🇬🇧 Ultimately I’m buzzing with joy and really looking forward to what’s to come! 💛

Tonight marks the final performance of Die Zauberflöte! 🌙🪈🐍✨

I couldn’t have wished for a more wonderful way to make my Royal Opera House debut. It’s been such a joy sharing the stage (and so many laughs) with this incredible cast of singers and dancers, and working alongside the talented crew and wonderful WHAM team who make everything run and shine so beautifully behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to our gorgeous revival director Ruth Knight and our inspiring revival movement director Angelo Smimmo for guiding us through this magical productions. Also a big thanks to my brilliant friends and co-ladies of the night, Ellen Pearson and Emma Carrington — I couldn’t have done it without you! 💫

Feeling so grateful for this experience, and already looking forward to what’s coming up next🥰🫶🏼 by @hannahedmunds1

😵‍💫 4.48 Psychosis 😵‍💫

Where to start?

If you’d told me in August how much fun I would have during this show, I don’t think I would have believed you. It’s the hardest show I’ve ever done, for every reason possible, but also one of the most rewarding. Diving into Sarah Kane’s extraordinary words, so carefully staged by the man, the myth, the legend, Ted Huffman, and Philip Venables’ expressive music, conducted by our fearless leader, Naomi Woo, has been a learning curve I’ll never forget.

I feel so incredibly lucky to have found this group of people. And especially lucky to have shared the stage with the most spectacular group of women. This was the kind of team where you can be completely yourself, have the hardest day and know there’s someone there to pick you up. A group that somehow makes something difficult feel like so much fun. The kind of group that will stay with me for a very long time🩶

The conversations no one else hears...

In Philip Venables’ 4.48 Psychosis, the boundaries between a person’s inner world and the stage begin to dissolve, giving voice to thoughts and emotions that often remain unspoken.

@vakamamakia, @hannahedmunds1, @jacquelynstucker and director @harriet_taylor reflect on the vulnerability of bringing Sarah Kane’s words to life, and the intimate connection between performers and audience.

My first year as a Jette Parker Artist is OVER!! 🥹✨
What an incredible year! I feel so grateful, inspired, happy and exhausted in the best possible way. We finished the season with our Summer Performance, where I had the absolute joy of singing Mimì in Leoncavallo’s La Bohème. What a special way to end the year! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who made this performance possible - Talia, Izzy and Rachael for dealing with us and putting together a beautiful show! Conductors Richard Farnes, Peggy Wu, Giovanni Fanizza and Richard Fu for beautiful musical leadership, the beautiful Spike King, all coaches, pianists, stage management, costume, wigs & make-up, production team, and everyone working behind the scenes. Thank you for your patience, encouragement and belief in us.

Most of all, thank you to my fellow Jette Parker Artists. It’s been such a privilege to share this year with such kind, inspiring and ridiculously talented people. I can’t wait to see what everyone does next… and I’m already looking forward to year two!🤩🤘🏼

Our very first Opera on the Terrace was a magical evening!

Live opera and powerful performances by Soprano Hannah Edmunds and Tenor Emmanuel Fonoti-Fuimaono, accompanied by Peggy Wu — we still have goosebumps.

@angelacooking, Head chef @cheftomewer and the team served a fantastic feast of Italian classics including; traditional cicchetti, Sicilian caponata on buffalo mozzarella, and roasted veal loin with Parmigiano Reggiano cream.

All finished with buttermilk panna cotta, served with balsamic strawberries using 40-year-old aged balsamic from Modena.

It truly was an evening for the senses! Thanks to everyone who joined us, we’ll keep you posted on any future events.
