In addition to music and audio, I am also an accomplished actress!

I have starred in film, episodic television, commercial, print, and voice over. I have also acted in over 75 musical and theater productions. I’ve played everything from drama to comedy to horror.

This is just a snippet of my most prominent work, including as villainess “Veracity” in Universal’s “Pitch Perfect 3” and as the “heartbreaker-new-girl-in-town” in A&E’s “Crazy Hearts: Nashville”.

I am SAG-AFTRA and non-union eligible. I am currently a free agent, as this is when I have always found my most powerful roles. 💪🏼

Additional skills include singing, dance, guitar, piano, saxophone, drums, swimming, cycling, martial arts, rock climbing, surfing and various extreme sports. 😎

Hey all, thank you for listening to my music! Enjoy this lil peek at some of the music videos I’ve put out. I was updating my music reel and realized several newer creations never got their time to shine! Many of them I shot and edited myself, some of the songs I produced myself. None could have come to fruition without the collaboration of my incredibly creative and talented friends. I’m forever grateful to get to make music as an artist and collaborator.

I’ve been an audio engineer for 20 years. I started small, making myself the “go-to” sound recordist for undergrad and grad films at NYU, then worked on the post production floor of Tisch, where I engineered music recording, ADR, and Foley sessions. Though I dug the studio stuff, I quickly learned I was happier out in the field, so I got a job at @gothamsound near Times Square and got busy learning all the field recording mixers inside and out. Eventually I left the Gotham nest and tested my wings, doing production sound full time as an independent contractor, cutting my teeth on several major reality shows including The City, The Real L Word, and Love and Hip Hop.

BOOM baby! Suddenly there was little ole early 20-something me, with a massive mixer and array of wireless strapped to my belly, a boom in my hand and cans on my ears, amidst a sea of mostly older men. I never flinched. I lived in NYC and had rent and student loans to handle. Luckily, work kept coming to me and I pounced on it. If I didn’t know how to do something, I asked. If I f*cked up, I let people know and fixed it promptly. Something about the fast-paced set life felt natural and comfortable to me, and even moreso, the thrill of capturing people’s stories and immortalizing them. I was in my element, wiring up talent and cast, throwing a boom, dancing with cameras… dialing it all in.

Over the last 2 decades I have worked on countless tv shows, films, documentaries, commercials, promos, music videos, docuseries, reality shows, narrative shows, scripted, unscripted, political, musical, apolitical, presentation tapes, sizzles, passion projects, short films, fiction, nonfiction… the list goes on and on. I’ve heard thousands of stories through my headphones… stories that have shaped my career, my life, my values and beliefs and the woman I am today. Moving to Nashville allowed me to diversify into more documentary work, where I’ve most recently done work for PBS (Havana Time Machine), CNN (the Beyoncé Doc), and CBC (the upcoming Lilith Fair Doc). Tips for Camping in an Apocalypse: Part II

Stay positive.
Bring at least one hatchet.
Use the bear lockers.
Harvest firewood.
Make friends.
Explore.
Stay alert and curious.
Try at least one thing that scares you.

I grew up camping on this island and it was my first time bringing my own young family. We drove over 1,000 miles and arrived to devastating forest fires burning just to the north. The air quality went from unhealthy to hazardous. The circumstances were less than ideal, but we made some very special memories that will last a lifetime and likely beyond. These are the last photos I captured on my phone before it died. I captured the remainder of our trip on a battery powered digital camera. I will share a portion of this footage in Part III.

The dates we reserved to camp on Stockton Island off the coast of northern Wisconsin coincided precisely with the devastating wildfires in Canada and northern Minnesota.
