Soulmated so hard we taught our bestie to walk again🫂🤍Two weeks ago, our little Erbse was diagnosed with ivdd. 🥺❤️‍🩹 It has always been my biggest fear. In almost four years, she has never walked a single stair. She’s always been a happy, active girly who loves nothing more than running around and playing. Everything happened so fast. After rushing her to the emergency clinic in the middle of the night, she needed emergency surgery the very next morning❤️‍🩹 I balled my eyes out… and then came the waiting. That fcking sucked. The surgery was a success🫂 but she had to stay at the clinic for three days. No visits (mental bs incoming) That completely broke my heart. We only got one update a day, but then her neurologist called and told us she was confident Edna would walk again, and hopefully with time even run. Three days later, we finally got to bring her home😭 Since then, we’ve done everything we can: lots of rest (for the next two months), physiotherapy with a professional, and all the little exercises we can do with her every day. The first days were heartbreaking. She couldn’t move her back legs at all, and I honestly thought she’d never walk again. But Edna is so full of life, so stubborn, and so incredibly strong. Every single day she made the tiniest little bit of progress. And now, just two weeks later… she can walk again. 🥹❤️ wobbly but walking and I’m so so so proud. Look at her go😭 we even have to slow her down so she can heal properly. And I promise, I’ll do everything I can to make sure one day she’ll be running again, her floppy ears flyiiiiing🌀 im so grateful for all of her besties who have been manifesting so hard for her and sending her so much love and energy🌸 With this much love surrounding her, it almost feels like there was no other outcome than seeing her find her way back onto her little leggos🩵 by @hannahkrh
