i travel a lot,
and it’s easy to feel a lot of things when you enter a new place.

but brazil felt different.

the people,
the culture,
the openness,
the way people welcome you with so little hesitation and so much heart.

i’ve never felt so alive,
and i’ve never felt so much like myself.

and maybe one of the most beautiful things i’ll take with me is this:

because warmth was never about what people have,
it’s about who they are.

i’m not really one to celebrate birthdays loudly,
they’ve always felt more like timestamps than milestones.

but this one feels different,
it feels like standing at the edge of a version of myself
i barely recognize, in the best way.

i turn 23 today.

and when i look back at the last 12 months,
it reads like three different lives.

i graduated college,
stepped into a 9 to 5,
was unemployed,
sat in uncertainty.

and somewhere in the in between,
i chose risk over comfort
and invested into sales training.

that decision didn’t just change my income,
it altered my trajectory.

my income doubled, then tripled.
i started moving, across cities, across countries.
met people who think expansively.
built friendships that didn’t exist in my old world.

and the most meaningful shift,
i can show up for my family from a place of capacity, not limitation.

it’s wild how much a year can hold,
how quickly life responds when you stop negotiating with fear.

if you’ve been part of my journey in any capacity,
a conversation, a lesson, support from afar,
i adore you, and i genuinely thank you.

if you’re in the in between right now,
know that it isn’t a dead end,
it’s a doorway.

lately, the nights feel like a reflection of my life.
calm, clear, and finally at peace.

everything’s aligning.
in all facets of life…love, growth, purpose, joy
i truly feel full.

nothing rlly is ever that serious.
i’m just here to live,
to feel it all,
to see the beautiful world while i can.

life is short,
but mine?
