Ok but WHAT did I just read?! 👀

This was honestly unlike anything I’ve read before and I am HERE for a book that makes me sit there thinking… “well this is different.”

The concept behind this?! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Vampires. Magic. Murder. Family drama. Corporate power. A locked-room mystery. Romantic suspense. And a dangerously handsome vampire casually walking into the middle of it all like he doesn’t have enough red flags to fill an entire building. 🫠🩸

It’s basically Succession with fangs and I genuinely loved that description because …YES. 😂

I really enjoyed the whole idea of magic being bottled, ‘engineered’ by magicians and sold to humans through Mythos, and then throwing Valentina into the middle of a fight for the throne after the CEO, her father, suddenly collapses?!

Everyone has an agenda, everyone is choosing sides and absolutely NOBODY feels trustworthy. Everyone is a suspect…

And then there’s the vampire. 👀

Mysterious? ✔️
Dangerously handsome? ✔️
Potentially murderous? ✔️
Was I suspicious of him? Obviously.
Am I also interested? Unfortunately, VERY. 😂

I loved how fresh the premise felt and how it blended so many different elements into one story. It kept me curious and I was genuinely invested in finding out who was behind everything.

If you’re after something a little different from your usual fantasy romance, with vampires, mystery, magic, family chaos and a whole lot of questionable people… add this one to the TBR. 🩸
