Happy 4th and 250th 🇺🇸!

Being able to represent USA has been a dream come true.

Many don’t know that after my rookie push camp in 2022 I struggled with whether I wanted to continue pursuing my dream in sport. I was also wanting to continue focusing in my career in counseling and I knew I would have to fund myself quite a bit if I got into this sport. The goal was to finish up my masters then come back to the sport if that’s something I’m interested in.

I remember my mom telling me that residents she works with are praying for me with my pursuit in Bob/Skeleton… I looked at her and said Idk why they’re praying I don’t think I’m going back! I also forgot that when I was younger in sports I dreamed and prayed to rep my country on a big stage one day. That dream continued to stick with me.

Their prayers and mine must have worked because in 2024 I slid down the track on a skeleton sled 🛷 for the first time as well as raced representing USA. So thankful God directed my steps back to an answered prayer. I have been all in since and it has been an honor to rep the ❤️🤍💙

Camp Inspire was incredibly lucky to visit the Lake Placid Mt Van Hovenberg Olympic Sliding Center and hear inspirational and motivational messages from the phenomenal Hannah Gaskins, USA Skeleton Athlete. Hannah taught us a lot about resilience, self confidence, and perseverance. Hannah is a joy and we were so grateful for her time! Go, Hannah, go!
