“Today is not about being perfect. It is about being together”

Lady Legends, thank you for giving me a second family I thought I would never find. Through the countless hours and reps in unbearable heat, to shivering while running laps outside, I wouldn’t take any moment back. Even when all fell apart, the bond this team formed will always hold a special place in my heart. Strengthening relationships with old friends, and meeting new people I thought I would NEVER talk to, I cherish every single second we spent together. Every step into the gym, every full out, every mile ran, up until the last time walking off stage has built me up to the girl I am today. I think it is finally safe to say we did not go down without a fight.

Thank you endlessly for all the laughs, cries, and everything in between.

Now for the very last time, “Lady Legends, BTA, mmm, I. LOVE. THIS. TEAM.”

Senior Scorch, every single one of you girls will always be my babies. Days when I didn’t want to go into the gym, you never failed to make me smile once again. Every single one of your personalities has imprinted on me in ways you can’t imagine, I see bits and pieces of you all in the way I talk, act, go about my life. You ladies are some of the strongest individuals I have ever interacted with and seen. We never gave up even through injury and the most troubling months, between coach issues and when it felt like our team was going to fall apart. The girls I call my best friends came from this team, and I will endlessly look back at how far we have come and smile ear to ear.
