solo trip to costa rica ✨got to practice my spanish while doing a bunch of active & challenging stuff!! waterfall repelling, whitewater rafting, ziplining and more in the rainforest before relaxing at the beach ☺️amazing to see so many plants and animals I'd only ever seen in cages or in pictures! people in latin america were shook I was alone but I enjoy my own company ‼️cheers to not letting anything stop you from doing the things you want 🥳 by @hansen.sam2

finished objects bc it's too hot & sticky now for my fuzzies -self-designed cousin to my beautiful Alpenglow which I finished a while back and never properly photographed or shared! gentle reminder (to MYSELF mostly) to give your woolens their end of season wash and store them away from critters 💗 by @hansen.sam2

hardly post let alone share my handmades, but I spent about 5 months knitting this cable sampler blanket as a wedding and housewarming gift for Alex & Michael! had a lot of fun testing out stitch patterns from Norah Gaughan's Knitted Cable Sourcebook and using yarn I originally got to make a blanket maybe 6/7+ years ago?! love when things come full circle 🥰 gift knitting is closed for the year (unless you buy me a couch!!) and lots of fun fall projects underway! new things plus old finished projects to share soon 😎 by @hansen.sam2

very happy to have graduated summa cum laude (4.0 🥳) with my masters in social work last month!! I'll be taking the licensing exam soon and then starting my first job in my field (someone hire me I'm so employable!🤞🏻) taken in Fordham University by @hansen.sam2

I had the opportunity to do counseling work with domestic violence survivors for my internship. Crazy to think I'll have a masters next year!

hey everyone I'm still alive! I graduated from uw last year and I'll be moving to New York at the end of the summer to pursue a masters of social work at Fordham University!! I'm hoping to deliver mental health care in hospitals and eventually practice as a therapist. here's a bunch of selfies I've taken during quarantine bc I figured more than my family and two friends should know what I look like now 😹 by @hansen.sam2
