POSTS STORIES REELS

Finally, we’ve reached the end of the Daily Consumption Exhibition journey. I’m beyond happy to be part of this exhibition for the very first time and to share my story through my artwork 🥳

This is my third piece, titled The Growing Soul, a kind of estuary that represents my personal journey to stay sane — starting by nourishing the body, the mind, and, for this one, the soul ❤

The Growing Soul explores themes of transformation, rebirth, and spiritual presence in our daily lives. It reminds us that wounds, setbacks, healing, and trust are all essential parts of becoming. Here, the soul in motion is represented through visual elements such as seeds, connection, expanding roots, nurturing, and the freedom to express oneself. The Growing Soul has no final destination, because true growth never really ends. Instead, it offers space: space to recognize that a growing soul is not weakness—but quiet, unwavering courage 💞

Big thanks to @fromhobbytosomething @tokonoma_jkt @upflor.id @thegatorpress for being part of our journey to keep creating. I hope many more exciting moments are waiting ahead. And of course, thank you to the universe for supporting us throughout this event ✨

See you at the next one! 🙌🏻

My second artwork for Daily Consumption Exhibition 💙✨
Restless Mind is an artwork that transforms daily anxieties, inner dialogue, and emotional tension into a vibrant, moving experience. Through the combination of color and form, the artwork expresses a visual transition between mental chaos and calmness. Each color represents a shifting emotional state: blue for deep sadness, green for acceptance and resilience, and yellow for the quiet desire to heal. Restless Mind is not just meant to be seen—but felt.

Thanks to @dudungmaman.kop and @fromhobbytosomething 🌱

This is my first-ever piece in a group exhibition with the theme "Daily Consumption." It’s called The Nourished Body, and it’s basically about how I go through my day taking care of my physical needs ✨

The Nourished Body

The body is the closest living laboratory we have. It is where life unfolds—where breathing, movement, thinking, and feeling all happen within the universe of our own skin.

Nourished Body is a visual exploration of what we consume each day, and whether those things support our well-being—or silently deplete us.

In today’s fast-moving digital world, nutrients no longer come only from food. They also arrive through what we see, read, hear, feel, and do. This artwork tells the story of daily nourishment physically beginning with the first light of sunrise and ending as the day closes.

Metaphorically, textures and colors reflect the tension between survival and struggle, between resilience and imperfection. A gentle reminder to care for and cherish this walking laboratory we call the body.

Huge shoutout to the folks of @fromhobbytosomething and @toi.jakarta for making this whole thing happen.
And thanks a ton to everyone who came by and showed love—it really means a lot ❤

Much love and God bless y’all! ✨

🎉 Every year I use #artvsartist as a little self-reflection moment. And honestly, this year has been the best one yet. I’m really grateful because I’ve had more time with myself — to get to know, accept, and love who I am. I journaled a lot this year and even started writing down the dreams I once let fade away ✨

This year I also tried so many new things — my first art market at Stickrmart, my first offline sharing session with the museum community, my first webinar class, my first collective exhibition with @fromhobbytosomething, my first Artket, and so many other new experiences. I also met lots of amazing people along the way — artists, literacy activists, wildlife and environmental activists, climate folks, and many new friends I’m lucky to keep until now ❤

Special thanks this year to Mas @ransfananta for giving me the chance to join my dream project — creating my first conservation-themed children’s storybook written by Bu @tyaskw01writer . I can’t wait to see how it turns out together. And to @kepinchocs — thanks for letting me use your WC (lol) and for reminding me what really matters in life and in creating: doing what I want, what I love, and what I truly understand. And of course to Mbak @meetasr13 — thank you so much for all the support this year. Love you! Hope your PhD goes smoothly, and thanks a ton for The Wild Robot book. And lastly, to someone who came into my life and added a new splash of color at the end of this year. 💫

I hope this year becomes a beautiful beginning for me and all my friends as we welcome the years ahead. And may next year bring more blessings, gratitude, peace, creativity, and new things to explore.

Tapi karyanya Nyambung terus, punya benang merah. Berasa.

Selama 3 minggu, venue-nya berglir. Gak muluk, yet still cannot be overlook. #anjayberima
