Did you know this was in Kyoto, Japan?🌿👀 Location below 👇 Comment GHIBLI for the link!🔗 • We went on a family outing to Kyoto this weekend and discovered a new Ghibli exhibit that had just opened last week! 😍 Because you know if there is Ghibli, I’m there for it… 😂 • But this was a Zen x Ghibli exhibit, connecting the ideals, stories and invisible threads between the 2 through a strangely relatable lens! 📸 • For my work, I shoot with monks and film temples in Kyoto pretty frequently ⛩️ and when I get home I love watching a ghibli film as I edit those photos because I feel like I can resonate with it on a deeper level… 🌱 • Suffice to say, I was surprised when those 2 worlds collided outside of my home office space! In one of Kyoto’s most iconic art museums no less! 😳 • 📍KYOCERA Museum of Art, Zen and Studio Ghibli (comment GHIBLI And I’ll send you the link!) • I feel like this was so unique and I loved the displays and little details you had to hunt or wait for. 🏠😉 • Not every part of the exhibit is okay to film but I didn’t want to share it all anyway, you’ll have to go see for yourself! 🥰 • Send this to a friend you’d like to visit Japan with! 💫 And follow me for more cool things to do in Japan! ✨ taken in Kyoto, Japan by @happa.world

Do you agree with my ratings? 👀 Be real with me, should I have bought the last one? 👰🏻‍♀️ • So big news… your wedding photographer got married! 🎉 Now that the wedding is over, I can finally start sharing these clips! 🤭 • Since we planned to have our wedding in either America or Japan, I actually went wedding dress shopping in both countries. Filming for YouTube all the way through the planning process. 💍 • At this point, I was jet lagged beyond belief and freshly engaged, shopping with my best friend for wedding dresses in San Fransisco~ ✨ These some of the dresses I ended up saying “no” to as someone who had no idea what she was doing 😅 • I sometimes still regret not getting the last “doily dress” but when you see what I actually picked… you’ll understand 🤭🤍 taken in San Francisco, California by @happa.world

Manifesting a date night like this one 🙏🏼✨🥩🤤🌱🦌 • Niku no Asatsu just opened up their new branch in Kintetsu Nara this year and let me tell you that it’s SO GOOD. 🤤❤️ • Nara is one of my favorite places in Kansai but all the restaurants just aren’t it or are wildly overpriced… We don’t go anymore unless we know we’ve secured a good place to eat 🥺 • Finding Niku no Asatsu right by the station became the perfect excuse to go see them light up the famous Daimonji (大) and unlock Nara as a region on our MaiMai accounts! 🦌🔥 • Eating Kobe beef and grabbing a drink after a long week… what makes a better night out? Thank you @nikuno.asatsu.nara 🫰🏼 • Also, small tip for my stamp collectors: the tourist information center nearby has a really cute stamp for you to collect 😘 taken in Kintetsu Nara Station by @happa.world

Things I force my friends to do with me in Japan when they’re already overstimulated 😂😂😂 • Not a bad option right?? 💆🏻‍♀️ • The international friend hang out was in Tokyo 🗼and for every single day we surpassed our step goal at 8am, Tori gave me the “when does it end” bombastic side look 👀 • So their very last day in Japan, I brought them to @ikinuki_headspa_tokyo which is located about 10 minutes away from Asakusa’a famous Senso-ji shrine. ⛩️ • They take reservations and each session is fully private for 1-2 people. Remembering Summer Days in Japan 🌻 • This year was very very hot but wedding planning spurred me to go out a lot more ✨ Scroll for locations! • Feat. My sister in law in the first slide 🤭 📍Niku no Asatsu (Umeda, Osaka) • They offer all you can eat meat AND sushi with private booths. It’s tucked away in the grugiest looking parts of Osaka which means plenty of great photo ops~ • DM me or comment “Niku” for the Google Maps link if you need it! 🥩 📍GIGO x Namba x Myaku Myaku • I love my boy Myaku Myaku and since the Expo ended, he’s been featured less and less so I’m glad that GIGO is currently offering a ton of prizes featuring him 🍃 📍Shabu Shabu TonTon, Shinsaibashi • A little hole in the wall place with a speak easy vibe, private rooms, and bar! Great for hosting those bachelorette and bachelor events for our out of town guests because they accommodate groups of many sizes.✨ • Plus it’s centrally located in Namba area where a lot of our friends elected to stay for the wedding 🤭 📍Kishi Station • Home of the famous cat station master (and associates), this day trip in Wakayama was one of my favorites! • Cute trains and cute cats… what more can you ask for? 🐱🚂 • Be warned, the cats go off duty at 4pm (but the stamp rally is still going overtime~) 💮 📍Shinsaibashi, Osaka • Cafe crawling for an afternoon in the outskirts of shinsaibashi and namba lead to some legendary finds. Which is Japan’s largest K-town (located in Osaka) so it’s getting 2 birds with one stone! 🕊️ • @hayleymayhaps and I (@happa.world) were spoiled for choice when it came to restaurants, street food, and cafes! 🍽️ So I’ll make it easy for you and share our itinarary! • 1️⃣ Arrive at Tsuruhashi Station and exit towards the main market (Hondori Shopping Street) 2️⃣ Explore the various food stalls and get infinitely hungry from all the good smells 🍢 3️⃣ Go to Wagyu Yakiniku Osaka Kaikan and eat where the locals do for lunch 🍖 (seriously, it was just us and all the retired grandmas and grandpas for lunch) 🤤 4️⃣ Walk towards Miyuki-dori for the outdoor shops, shrine, and cute shops! 🧴 5️⃣ Grab dessert on the way at Tomorrow Tiger Bagel (if you eat there you need to get a drink too though) because it’s perfect after yakiniku 🥯 6️⃣ Take some crafting classes in the area (separate video?? 👀) because it’s so much fun and you can bring home a little souvenir 🖋️ 7️⃣ Share this video with your international friend (or do this first since you read this far) to convince them to come with you~ ✈️ • 📍@osaka_kaikan Tsuruhashi, Osaka 😘 taken in Tsuruhashi by @happa.world
