There are quite a few misinterpretations about baby and toddler classes -and a lot of them can stem from class nerves (feeling like the new parent, or not connecting with your class-mates immediately). But nerves are totally normal. And sometimes, you can't burst these intruding thoughts until you've been to a few classes.

It's why we always encourage families to try classes more than once. Your first class isn't always the best, but it's an introduction into where you could find your village. Plus, they offer you a great opportunity to bond with your little one away from home (where you have 100's of distractions all around you).
