Soooo, I’ve been doing a little introspection lately, and I realised how much I had started thinking about my art account as a grid rather than a place to make art.

I became too fixated on how everything would look together. I convinced myself that I should mostly post landscapes because that’s what I thought I was “good at”. So the little sketches, scribbles, random characters and unfinished ideas stayed hidden in my sketchbooks or stories.

And honestly, I don’t want to do that anymore.,it’s truly exhausting.

I started a landscape challenge recently and couldn’t follow through. I think I was asking too much of myself at a time when life already felt a little testing.

So I’m letting go of the rules I had made for this little space.

From now on, this is going to be my art journal. A place for whatever I feel like making - a landscape, a pen sketch, a silly character, a scribble, something unfinished, something completely random.

No more worrying about whether the grid looks perfect🙈I feel soo silly to admit this hahaha..

So, here’s to letting this little space be a little more random, messy and imperfect 🥂✨

I’ve been a bit absent from here lately. Between work keeping me busy and not feeling quite like myself emotionally, creating for myself took a backseat. But I’m happy to finally share this little piece with you. 🤍

Finally posting an illustration after a while. 🥹

A few weeks away from painting and my brain was already convincing me I’d forgotten how to do it. 😂 I was genuinely scared to pick up my iPad.

It’s strange how quickly self-doubt shows up. A small break somehow feels much bigger in our heads than it actually is. But once I started painting again, it slowly began to feel familiar.

So I’m starting a small challenge for myself: 15 days of simple, low-effort paintings. No pressure to create something amazing every day. Just showing up whenever I can.

And if life gets in the way and I miss a few days, that’s okay too. I’ll pick it up again. I’m trying to let go of the all-or-nothing mindset and make art feel fun again.

This is a completely random and very silly “what’s in my iPad bag” video. It’s also the first time I’ve properly appeared in a video on this account, which feels oddly terrifying. But I had fun making it, so here we are. 🤍
