When I was growing up, I loved the idea of being an entrepreneur.
 The suits, the meetings, the glitz, the glamour - all of it.

But the truth?
 Most days look more like these photos. Hands-on. Problem-solving. Checking my phone between jobs. Sleepless nights, resilience on repeat, and a whole lot of uncertainty… especially in the kind of economic landscape we’re all navigating right now.

Running a business isn’t shiny — it’s gritty.
 It’s hard work, doubt, pressure, and big decisions that never really get easier.

But it’s also purpose. Growth. Pride.
 And the belief that with planning, determination, resilience, and the right systems in place… you can build something that lasts.

Here’s to the entrepreneurs who show up even when it’s tough.

Moving house is often said to be one of life’s most stressful experiences—and setting up the Tasting Trail can feel much the same! 😅

There’s only a short window to deliver gazebos, tables, chairs and equipment to seven different locations around Twickenham town centre. But last Sunday was a completely different experience, thanks in large part to the wonderful team at Happy2Move!

They were incredibly organised, conscientious, upbeat and helpful throughout—and they took so much of the stress out of our event setup.

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Removals Driver to join the Happy2Move team in West London.

This isn’t just a driving role. You’ll be working as part of a crew, helping with packing, loading, transporting and delivering our customers’ belongings safely and professionally.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and wants the opportunity to progress within a growing removals company.

📍 Based in Hayes (UB4)
💷 £34,500–£37,000 per year
📅 Monday–Friday
⏰ 6–7am starts
📈 Training provided + opportunity to progress to Team Leader

Previous removals experience is an advantage, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important to us.

Clearly labelling your boxes with the room and key items inside can save you a lot of stress when you arrive at your new home.

Because after a long day of moving, the last thing you want is to be searching through boxes just to find the kettle. ☕📦

Good packing starts with clear labelling.

When preparing boxes for a house move, always label the room they came from, what’s inside and whether the contents are fragile. It helps the removals team handle each box correctly and makes unpacking at your new home much easier.

And don’t forget the details build the box the right way up and keep the arrows facing upwards throughout the move.

A little organisation before moving day can make the entire removals process feel smoother from start to finish.
