POSTS STORIES REELS

Meet your stylist — Kara💕.

With nearly 20 years of experience, I specialize in healthy hair and protective styles while creating a space where women feel confident, cared for, and seen.

This year I’m building with intention—working toward my own salon suite and continuing to give back through monthly free hair events for children 12 and under.

This is more than hair. This is purpose.

“And just like that, another day in the life of a mom of four and full-time entrepreneur is in the books! 😭😂

Between getting the girls ready for school, taking two clients, and squeezing in a little PR unboxing, your girl was BUSY!

But first, we had to make a coffee stop at Shaka Brew, one of my FAVORITE coffee spots in Waldorf! ☕️💕 They treated your girl to a coffee on the house, and listen… I’ve literally driven 30 minutes out of my way just to get their coffee. At this point, I’m not even a customer, I’m in a committed relationship with this coffee truck! 😭😂 Make sure y’all check out their Instagram to see where they’ll be parked next!

Shoutout to Kind Patches because I truly feel like those energy patches helped me push through this LONG day! And Get Wasted sent over some shapewear and an oil that smells absolutely DIVINE! 😍

But seriously, entrepreneurship is not for the weak! Some days I’m exhausted, some days I’m overwhelmed, but every day I’m grateful that I get to build something of my own while still showing up for my babies.

And if you’ve made it this far, thank you for spending the day with me! 🫶🏽

Now, I need y’all to do me a favor! Like, comment, save, and FOLLOW because every interaction helps me get one step closer to turning this content creator thing into a full-time paying gig!

And to my fellow mompreneurs… how are we balancing ALL of this? Because baby, I need a nap AND a raise! 😭😂💕

Your natural hair deserves care, even when nobody can see it! 🤎🐆

Introducing The Hair Hibernation Program by Happy Knapps! ✨

Ladies, we’re doing protective styling with a PURPOSE! No more getting a sew-in and forgetting about your natural hair underneath.

I’ve created an 8–10 week extension experience that takes the guesswork out of maintaining your install while prioritizing the health of your natural hair.

Here’s what your $800 investment includes:

✨ Full sew-in installation
✨ 3 luxury Raw Vietnamese hair bundles (up to 22 inches)
✨ One professional maintenance appointment
✨ Complete sew-in takedown
✨ Nasara organic protein treatment, shampoo & trim

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Week 1: We install your Raw Vietnamese extensions, discuss your hair goals, and create your maintenance plan.

Weeks 4–5: You return for your maintenance appointment to refresh your install and address your hair and scalp needs.

Weeks 8–10: We safely remove your extensions, cleanse your hair, apply the Nasara organic protein treatment, and trim your natural hair as needed.

THE BEST PART? Everything is scheduled during your initial appointment! No worrying about finding another appointment or paying for each service separately.

PAYMENT OPTIONS 💳

Your $800 program balance is due at your initial appointment.

Want to break up your investment? Klarna is available through Booksy for eligible clients! Select Klarna at checkout if offered and choose your available payment plan.

This isn’t just a sew-in package. It’s an investment in healthy hair habits, professional maintenance, and convenience.

Because at Happy Knapps, your hair isn’t being neglected. It’s being protected. 🤎

60 days into full-time entrepreneurship and BABYYYY, the lessons have been LESSONING! 😭😂

Going from a guaranteed paycheck to betting on myself has been one of the scariest yet most rewarding decisions I’ve made.

These past 60 days have taught me so much about discipline, financial responsibility, networking, showing up for myself, and most importantly, trusting God through the unknown.

I’m learning that building a business isn’t just about making money. It’s about building relationships, getting in the right rooms, being intentional with my time, and becoming the woman capable of sustaining everything I’m praying for.

Some days I feel like a CEO, other days I’m just a girl trying to figure it out. 😂 But I’m proud of myself for showing up anyway!

60 days down, a lifetime of lessons to go. And this time, I’m making sure I enjoy the journey. 🤎

💬 To my fellow entrepreneurs: What’s one lesson running a business has taught you? Let’s talk in the comments!
