𝟖𝟎𝟎 𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑯𝒂𝒓𝒖𝒌𝒊 💛✨☀️

To us, a pet’s gotcha day is just as important as birthdays. It’s the day you brought them home — welcoming them into your household with open arms. Whether you choose to purchase or adopt, what matters is the choice you made to bring someone new into your family!

Went with a yellow & white theme because Haruki has been such a sunshine in our lives and the smiley bandana from @thepawsco_ to represent his happiest, smiley and goofy self along with pupcakes made by @_woofsg 😆🧁🧣

BIG THANK YOU Athene for accommodating all our requests for the photoshoot!

CANIROX URBAN 2025 🏁

1.38 km. 9 obstacles. One goal: Finish together.

Grateful to the ones who came up with this concept — an experience that truly enriches our dogs’ lives in a way we don’t get every day. If “include dogs in everything we do” needed an example, this is literally it 🤣 Not just another pet fair, café outing, or dog park routine OOPS

This race gave both dogs and humans a chance to do something different together — to move & try, to struggle & laugh, figuring things out side by side (or mainly just the human) feels really good to be part of an activity where our dogs aren’t just “tagging along,” but are actually part of the experience with us.

Forget his usual mid-energy training self! Haruki finished every single station today, even the ones I was ready to take penalties for. I’m honestly so proud. The adrenaline was pumping so hard after the race that this emo nemo thought every tiny movement I made was a new obstacle or cue to follow 🤣 It ended way too fast—he just can’t comprehend why it was so short! My heart is full 💖

BIG BIG THANK YOU to the crew @therollingbros.co @petcoach.sg behind this idea, along with all the partners that contributed to the stations ideas @tribalfitness_sg @lunewuf @thedoggrocer. And a huge shoutout to the very enthusiastic volunteers (not sure who y’all are, only recognise a few!) — you’ve created something truly special for both humans and dogs 🐾

𝑷𝑨𝑫𝑫𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑻𝑶𝑵 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝑮 🐻🇸🇬

Halloween is this month, but we got to celebrate it a little earlier at @furmilysg HOWLOWEEN DAY OUT 🎃

A wholesome community to mix around with.
An opportunity to dress up.
A little adventure to remember.

Haruki dressed up as P-A-D-D-I-N-G-T-O-N! ! !
Scrambled to find an outfit and put everything together, then rushed down straight from work for this 😂

🙏🏼 Big thank you to those who lent us the necessary pieces to make all of this happen:

🥮 Is Mid-Autumn Festival still relevant in this day and age?

Of course!! It’s a time for family, togetherness & giving thanks, celebrated under the full moon. Traditionally, mooncakes are shared as a symbol of reunion and completeness but with everyone’s fast-paced Singaporean lifestyle, it’s also a good excuse to gather, eat good food and just catch up 😇

This year, we caved in and got Haruki his very own dog-friendly mooncakes from our favourite pet bakery, @michipawtisserie 🌸 The packaging and presentation look just like a real human mooncake gift box 🤌🏻 NAILED the whole experience — I just had to get another set for friends in Bali!

Whether you spent the weekend sleeping in, catching up with loved ones, stuffing yourselves with mooncakes and tea, getting some much-needed rest, or simply doing whatever made you happy — we hope you spent it well, and in a way that was meaningful to you 🙏🏼

Always on the lookout for single-ingredient treats because Haruki has a sensitive tummy, so I’m pretty particular about what he eats 😪

Novel proteins are always a perk, so when @wildnesstreats_sg kindly mailed us their EMU & BOAR JERKY to try, we were very excited — and Haruki absolutely LOVED them!!
Loved that the mail came with a free tote bag + stickers such as “Kind By Choice” & “Wild By Nature” which resonates with us because honestly, this is something we should all practise more in the dog community 🫶🏻

Available on Shopee — they’re currently having:
💰 Any 3 packs = 15% off
💰Spend above $50 & recieve a free tote bag

Get yours together with 9.9 sale 👉🏼 https://sg.shp.ee/atxt5qEL

𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡, 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 🛶

Wasn’t sure what to do for Haruki’s papa birthday, especially with the limited number of things to do in Singapore (be it with or without pets). I came across @seeksophiesg Mangrove Kayaking & Puaka Hill Hike (extra points for it being pet-friendly too) hosted by @serendipet

Neither of us had been to Pulau Ubin in recent years, so this was the perfect excuse to get closer to nature and experience it together with Haruki. I also really liked that it wasn’t just the usual you do at/on the island BUT you actually kayak through the mangroves before making your way up Puaka Hill which is definitely a different way to experience Pulau Ubin 👏🏻

Overall, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try if you’re looking for something different to do in Singapore (ish)

A different kind of birthday celebration, and definitely one we’ll remember 🤩

𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘:
🛄 Enclosed Carrier (For Dogs): Dog need to be kept in an enclosed carrier during the bumboat ride (Boatmen’s attitude can be very nasty, if you don’t have one you need to rent a whole boat to yourself - $48)
🦺 Life jackets (Both human and dogs) are provided
💦Bring only what you need and waterproof them: There’s a high chance of getting your belongings soaked
🚣‍♀️ Avoid putting items at the back of the kayak (10/10 soaked)
🧴 Sunscreen. Always. Route back can be scorching

𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟:
👖Long garments (Unless you’re more concerned about UV exposure)
🥾 Hiking shoes (Route may be steep but steps are clear & flat)
🧊Frozen Isotonic Drinks (Let it melt slowly, Ah Ma Drink Stall is overpriced)

(psst technically it’s still 26th Aug in other parts of the world so…)

Dogs have a way of changing our lives in the simplest ways, teaching us to slow down, live in the moment, and most importantly, what unconditional love really looks like 🫶

Every dog has a story and we’d love to hear yours! The more stories we share, the more we connect and build a stronger community together.
