Happy Brain Bakeshop is in Voyage LA ✨

For those of you I haven’t met yet, hi! I’m Kristen Kamei. I spent 16 years building campaigns for the biggest studios in Hollywood with an incredible team. Now I’m building this, and it’s the best work I’ve done.

What’s ahead: more cafés across LA, bigger production and event work, and flavors I’ve been dialing in. We’re hungry (despite all the cookies I eat) and ready to take on more!

Full interview in my bio. Want to try them yourself? We’re open Wed-Sun for pickup and delivery.

Want to partner? I want to hear from you, email me :)

Thank you @foundcoffeela for the nom 🏆 and @kathanegraaf for the awesome photography 📸 by @happybrainbakeshop

No tricks. Just treats. Happy Halloween from our little wolf and us.

Little Red Riding Hood and Grandma Wolf spent the evening handing out cookies to the neighborhood. The wolf was very well behaved.

Wishing you a happy and sweet Halloween. 🎃

Rosemary butter, toasted almonds, orange zest sugar. Our favorite time of year is here!

A new holiday cookie is in the works at Happy Brain. The kitchen smells incredible and we're queuing up the holiday playlist.

Ok ok, I know Halloween is still 3 days away but let me be a giddy holiday elf. Stay tuned. This one is worth the wait.

We named it Dad Jokes because it's corny. The honey caramel corn flake crunch is no joke though. Sweet corn, honey butter, honey caramel corn flake crunch. The comfort of cornbread with an elegant crunch. Order online at the link in bio.

You delivered the jokes. We delivered the cookie. Dad Jokes. Sweet corn, honey butter, honey caramel corn flake crunch. The corniest thing we've ever made and we stand by it.

Thank you for submitting your dad jokes! @wall_a, @honolulugunclub, @daril.eaton_, @frakensam989, @aaronatconcept, @ericbastianart, @orrmonkey

How do you know a dad joke when you hear it?... It’s a-parent.

What did the janitor say when he jumped out of the closet?... SUPPLIES!

Why does it cost so much to fill a tire... inflation!

I’m not saying I’m a great baker... but I’m definitely on a roll.

How far can you walk into a forest?... Halfway.

Do you know what the longest hair on your body is...?
It's your nose hair!
Because whenever you pull a nose hair out, you feel it all the way in your butt!

Why didn't the skeletons fight? Because they didn't have the guts!

Who else has got one that gets the eyes rollin? Typically a good sign if you start laughing before you can finish telling the joke. Drop below. by @happybrainbakeshop

Bourbon barrel aged coffee + brown butter and dark chocolate cookies. A few minutes before taking on the day.

The Regent Cloud iced latte and Happy Brain OMG cookies. Two LA makers, one very good pairing.
