Christmas decorating has officially started around here! 🎄❤️

I’ve been so excited to get our front porch decorated for Christmas! I wanted to keep it simple but still make it feel cozy and welcoming.

These Christmas trees were the perfect addition! I love how realistic they look, and the best part is that I can bring them out year after year! 🤍

Have you started decorating for Christmas yet? 🎄

Christmas in a cup… but anti-inflammatory.
This is the cozy holiday tea warms the house, supports your immune system, and tastes amazing hot or cold.

🌿 What You Need (all organic if possible):
1 big bag of cranberries
2 ginger roots, sliced with peel
2 lemons, sliced
4 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp whole cloves
A handful of fresh rosemary
A handful of fresh thyme
Optional add-ins: fresh oranges, blueberries, extra cinnamon sticks

🔥 How to Make It:
Add all ingredients to a large pot.
Cover with water.
Simmer on low for 1–2 hours until fragrant and deep in color.
Strain and enjoy hot or cold.
Store in the fridge to sip on for the next few days.
How I like it: I love adding a splash of this to my OLIPOP Ginger Ale!

❤️Anti-Inflammatory Benefits:
Cranberries-antioxidants + immune support
Ginger-reduces inflammation + supports digestion
Lemon-vitamin C + detox support
Cinnamon-blood sugar support + warming for digestion
Rosemary & thyme-immune boosting + antibacterial
Cloves- powerful antioxidants + anti-inflammatory properties

A cozy holiday drink that’s actually GOOD for you. ❤️

Because apparently decorating for Christmas is more important than figuring out what my family is going to eat tonight. 😂🎄

Anyone else avoiding their to-do list by decorating for Christmas?! 🙋🏼‍♀️

Did you know stewed apples are one of the simplest gut-healing foods you can make at home? 🍎

When apples are cooked, they release pectin-a natural prebiotic fiber that feeds your good gut bacteria, helps soothe digestion, and supports overall wellness. ✨

Even better? Stewing apples makes them easier to digest, gentle on the stomach, and naturally sweet without any added sugar. 🙌

These are the days 🤎

Just a typical homeschool morning with my girls. Nothing fancy, just breakfast, schoolwork, and all the little things in between. Some mornings go smoother than others 😂 but I really am thankful we get to do life this way.

Thankful for these ordinary days. 🤍

Anything that makes mom life and keeping up with the house a little easier is a win in my book!

Especially with kids in the house, I feel like I’m constantly cleaning up crumbs, dirt, and who knows what else!

I’ve been loving all the features on this Levoit VortexIQ® Pro vacuum! The green light shows dust and dirt you wouldn’t normally see, the suction is great for everyday messes, and I love that it lays completely flat to get underneath furniture. Plus, the attachments make cleaning those hard-to-reach spots so much easier!

And can we talk about how satisfying it is to see everything it picks up?!

I know not everyone will agree with this, and that’s okay! This is something God placed on our hearts as a family, and we simply want to be obedient to what He’s asking of us.

One thing I’ve learned is that when God places a conviction on your heart, you have to be willing to act on it. Even when it’s uncomfortable or doesn’t make sense to everyone else.

And I just want to encourage you, if God has been tugging on your heart about something, don’t ignore it. Pray about it and be obedient to where He’s leading you.

Sometimes we’re asking God to move in our lives, but we’re not willing to let go of what He’s asking us to surrender.

What if the miracle you’ve been praying for is waiting on your obedience? 🤍

Just a little reminder that following Jesus isn’t just about being saved. It’s about allowing the Holy Spirit to work in our hearts and change the way we live. Something I’m personally working on every single day. 🤍

Less of me, more of Him.

If you love chicken noodle soup, you have to try this one! It’s cozy, full of flavor, and made in one pot! Perfect for those cooler fall days when you’re craving something warm and comforting. I love using Kettle & Fire bone broth for a little extra protein and nutrients!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp grass-fed butter
2 celery ribs, diced
3 medium carrots, sliced
1 small yellow onion, diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
6 cups Kettle & Fire Lemon Thyme Chicken Bone Broth or Kettle & Fire Chicken Bone Broth
1 cup uncooked orzo
3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
1 lemon juiced
1 tsp dried thyme (omit if using Lemon Thyme broth)
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add carrots, celery, and onion. Cook for 5–7 minutes until softened.
2. Add garlic, thyme, oregano, and basil. Stir and cook for another minute.
3. Pour in the bone broth and bring to a gentle boil.
4. Add uncooked orzo, reduce heat, and simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
5. Stir in shredded chicken and cook another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
6. Turn off the heat and stir in fresh lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
7. Top with fresh parsley and an extra squeeze of lemon if you’d like!

The orzo will soak up some of the broth as it sits, so just add a little more broth when reheating leftovers!

Save this one for your next soup night! And follow @happyhealingtx for more easy recipes, healthy-ish swaps, and simple ideas for busy moms! 🤍
