Words can’t really describe the absolute awe you feel went you’re in the water with a humpback as it slowly rises from the depths and heads directly towards you, so gracefully, so slowly, so lovingly, so aware. So much respect for these amazing amazing animals. Being in their world, in their element, in their home, looking into their eyes, seeing them…. It’s a dream come true to witness this. I am so grateful. I took this video with my phone, no zoom. Just an indescribable feeling. #frenchpolynesia #humpbackwhale #freediving #fyp #viral by @happyhippiemermaid

💔 love… *sigh* #heartbreak #freediver #freediving #healingjourney #travel song credit to @_breannamusic 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 by @happyhippiemermaid

i moved to new zealand less than a week ago with two bags and no real idea what i’m doing next.

i don’t have it all figured out. i don’t know exactly what this chapter is going to look like or where i’ll end up, but i’m trying to be okay with that.

after a season of life that changed me in ways i’m still trying to understand, i’m trying to spend less time worrying about what comes next and more time being grateful for what’s right in front of me. the ocean, the mountains, the unfamiliar places, and the reminder that there’s still so much life left to live.

starting over is scary, and i definitely don’t have it all figured out. but for now, i’m here, i’m trying, and i’m really grateful to have the opportunity to see what this next chapter holds 💙

Special S/O to @oceanerfreediving for the beautiful suit!
