@deafheavenband Glint vocal cover

I wouldn’t say Deafheaven is influential musically for me in a big way but I will say when it came to how I approached the bridge in “Your Own Grave” I wanted to try a different style, in Happy Hour my vocals tend to stay in 1 general style that moves tonally but being a black metal fan and having developed other styles of screaming it was an opportunity to do something different in the context of our music.

Thank you for an amazing first week of “Your Own Grave”, we truly can’t express how much it means to see you all sharing the song, commenting on our posts, sending us DMs and sharing the love and support for this band. It’s truly mind blowing that we’ve been at this for 10 years and you’ve been able to see us grow and evolve as musicians and as people. We couldn’t be happier with where we’re at right now and are excited for the many things to come soon.

At the end of the day, we’re just four guys who love to make the most honest music we can. This song is the start of the next chapter of HH and without you guys we couldn’t do what we do. And to all the newcomers, welcome to the family.

Now who’s ready for the next one?

- HH ♥️

We finally made it out of the group chat to go make this music video and couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. It had also been almost a year since the last time we had all been in the same room to play together and man did it feel good to be back.

Huge thanks to @mrcomawaves who was instrumental in the staging, directing, filming and editing and he perfectly captured our vision. Enjoy a lil BTS from that day!
