October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month 💛💙

Six years ago, our lives were blessed with the most incredible little girl. Every day since, she has shown us just how much joy, love, strength, and beauty one person can bring into the world.

Having Down syndrome is only one small part of who she is. She is funny, loving, stubborn, silly, determined, and completely her own person. She has taught us to celebrate the little things, appreciate the big things, and never underestimate what she is capable of.

This month, I’m not just celebrating Down syndrome awareness. I’m celebrating her — the amazing little girl she is, the person she is becoming, and all of the things she will accomplish that we haven’t even imagined yet.

DIFFERENT is BEAUTIFUL. Inclusion matters. And every person deserves to be seen for who they are — not defined by a diagnosis.

HAPPY DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS MONTH! 💙💛

Another Easter game from @educationalinsights ! 🐰 This one is amazing for fine motor skills! The bunny pincher definitely takes some getting used to for little hands (can be played without as well, but we just took extra time to work at it at first)! So fun! 🐰 🥕 ❤️
