@maj_ceipa_official

It was an honor to attend one of Japan’s biggest nights in music and see so many incredible artists perform all in one place!

// it’s halfway through winter already. Glad @happymaterial could join for a very quick sunset shoot by a remaining tree at the end of the season. My final autumn post probably.

Oden is UNDERRATED! 👽🍢
That’s a wrap for Season 2, who here likes Oden?

Ingredients:
Octopus, Beef (skewers), Daikon, Kinchaku, Konyaku, Shirataki noodles, Chikuwa, Hanpen, Ganmodoki, Eggs, Ganmo / Atsu-age, Satsuma-age, Chikuwabu, Fishcake.

Oden Soup
Water -1.5l
Salt- 1.5 tsp
Oyster sauce- 1.5 tbsp
Soy sauce -1.5tbsp
Sugar- 1tbsp
Dashi powder- 1tbsp

Recipe: (Most of the ingredients for Oden can be bought pre prepared)
Peel and cut daikon into thick pieces and round out the edges. Pre simmer in a pot of water (with a little uncooked rice, to remove bitterness) until soft (20-30 minutes)
In a pot, start with your base by creating your broth and adding Long Cooking Items like daikon, beef, konnyaku, and boiled eggs. Once simmering, cook for 20 minutes. Add medium cooking items like Fish cakes, fish balls, and fried tofu for 10minutes. Then finish off with your quick cooking items like hanpen or mochi. taken in Tokyo, Japan by @happymaterial

// spring miracle. Alex and Anise back with another set of late showa style with spring blooms. I can’t thank @happymaterial and @radioclub.jp enough for making the trek out here just for photos one day! I’m happy I can look back at these photos and the effort we made to make it happen :)

// before the bubble. Alex and Anise really made this late Showa era idea come to life when we went into the outskirts of Tokyo for cherry blossoms! I’ve been wanting to shoot this fashion as part of something and the spring season couldn’t have provided a better backdrop for it! I went for an attempt at old Fuji film color but I’m no expert so hopefully it looks alright to everyone haha
