• Nightmare •

Denise Huskins shared these words in the docuseries American Nightmare. Denise experienced something that every woman fears. Reflecting on that experience, she said she felt like she was floating above, watching. Completely separated from herself, she wanted to help that woman that she saw lying there. But she couldn’t.

Then after everything she went through, to not be believed. Something that my family and I also experienced. It’s devastatingly common for women to be looked at with suspicion after an assault.

If you have not watched American Nightmare, I cannot recommend it enough.

Thank you @bernadetteberniehiggins and @felicityhmorris for sharing your work and @huskins.denise for sharing her story. by @happymurry

Another @afewfriendsfilms project in the books. This time a feature.

Making movies with my friends is my happy place. And I got to do that for the last three weeks.

Couple things I learned:
1. Sharing a bathroom with four guys is possible but not recommended.
2. There is no moment that can’t be used to quote I Think You Should Leave.
3. I want to act for the rest of my life forever and ever amen.

@thezaccooper - thanks for writing such wonderful stories and asking me to be a part of them.
@taylor_dekker and @mojofunkster, thanks for making me look and sound good and being altogether talented.

Hi friends!💛
For the past month or so, I have been working on a resource to help folks talk to their Conservative loved ones about the importance of voting Trump out of office.
.
It is very important to me to approach these conversations with mutual respect as well as intention and thoughtfulness. I hope this resources helps you do that! I plan on updating it periodically up until the last days of the election, so please send me any feedback!
.
The world feels so dark and scary these days and it’s easy to feel hopeless. My hope is that this resource makes those hard, important conversations a little less difficult.

One year since we got our Ghosty Girl. We met a neighbor recently who said Ghost was “the most beautiful creature in the world.” Can confirm.
.
First video is the first video I took of her, a little scared and timid. The last video is the most recent video I took of her, a little scared but mostly goofy. I love her so much. by @happymurry
