Just like everyone else on the planet, I am Heated Rivalry obsessed. If you haven’t read the books, wth are you waiting for? Run don’t walk. If that’s not your speed, check out anything from my faves 😉

A little about me. In a homebody, hence the instagram handle 😆. I’m no Bookstagrammer, but I do have a passion for reading. I love LOVE, so of course Romance is my genre of choice 🫶🏾🥰💛

Meet the face behind the feed. Hi! I’m Vee, and this is my handsome son, Ezra. He’s my reading sidekick. It is my New Year’s resolution to lean into being more creative and social online. This is a first step towards that.

A huge shout out to @booksvanereads for this super cute template, I had so much fun making it dorky and unique like me 💫🫶🏾

Currently reading: I Who Have Never Known Men by
Jacqueline Harpman.

I am so intrigued by this book. Can’t wait to dive in.
A quote from the book that tickled my brain:
“Being beautiful, was that for men?’
‘Yes. Some women say that it is for ourselves. What on earth can we do with it? I could have loved myself whether I was hunchbacked or lame, but to be loved by others, you had to be beautiful.” - Jacqueline Harpman, I Who Have Never Known Men

Currently reading…Main Character by @thebobpalmer
I am loving this storytelling style!!

Clara and Seb are entirely actualized through multiple third party narrators POVs. It has been so fun to see them outside of themselves. It adds to the complexity of them as people, with pasts and futures some of the voyager can only consume, in a snapshot.

I’m about 50% in. And I can’t wait to see how they tackle this next stage of their relationship.

Most likely through the eyes of a random pedestrian walking in the same direction 😆

It was kinda painful being so excited about something and finding out that you are kind of bad at it 😆 Glad I didn’t let the hiccups get to me. #journaling #fall #scrapbooking #hobonichiweeks #hobonichi

Once I learned the term time blindness, everything started to make a lot more sense. #journaling #reading #scrapbooking #hobonichiweeks #hobonichi

Ugh I’m only human. Is it really appropriate to expect me to spell everything right while my hand is cramping 😂 #journaling #heatedrivalry #adults #hobonichiweeks #hobonichi

Next adventure, coffee shop journaling. For now, M&M’s and a candle 🕯️😌 #journaling #reading #yaga #hobonichiweeks #hobonichi

🛸🍿🎥🎬

Star Shipped was my first @catswrites book, and I was not disappointed. The stage was perfectly set for a slow burn, lightly enemies to lovers romance. And I ate it up!

Simon and Charlie’s witty banter and imperfections made their story draw me all the way in. Reading along as they went from, close strangers to more. Had me eating up their iconic lives as celebrities and costars. I have to shout out the mental health representation in both romantic and platonic relationships throughout the book. So well done!

I can’t wait to see what else Cat Sebastian has to offer. 👏🏾
