In 1973, by a vote of seven to two, the court justices ruled that governments lacked the power to prohibit abortions. By a vote of five to four, this 50 year precedent has been overturned. Today our children will have less rights and resources available, than their mother’s did.

My hope for our future is that this is an awakening to how far backwards our country has regressed. For those who voted Trump, but are outraged by this decision, I hope this opens your eyes to the weight and consequences of those choices. We need to change trajectory. “Our story does not end here.” - Michelle Obama 06.24.22 by @haqueafia

$Sophomore year of college, Zeeshan had the best idea: to adopt a kitten. Little did I know we weren’t just bringing home a pet—we were welcoming a daughter who has been with us through life’s hardest and most beautiful shifts. For 17 years, she filled our lives with so much light. Her vet chart may have said “aggressive,” “fractious,” and “dangerous,” but to us she was nothing but gentle, loving, and kind. Thank you for 17 beautiful years, sweet girl. We’ll love you forever. 🩷 Innalillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un by @haqueafia$
