Holding Those in the position of influence and power to account starts with us. Journalists with an ideological agenda shaped through formative years, in childhood, should not be in positions to bring news or opinions that carry the label "unbiased". Mainstream Media IS complicit in the #gazagenocide2023. The people at the top, middle and low levels that helped manufacture consent are STILL THERE. People like Jodi Rudoren. Today is my birthday.But today also 71'000 children are suffering from avute malnutrition in Gaza (According to an IPC report).A man made catastrophe. An Israel made catastrophe.Netanyahu declared, as he was kidnapping the Sumud Flotilla activists in international waters, that Gaza IS being isolated from the world. He's right . He does isolate Gaza. But behind that word is the dark reality- Israel is starving babies. Behind it is the collective punishment he imposed on Gaza by blocking medicine, blocking construction equipment to help people clean the rubble to finally find those still trapped under tons of concrete blocks. Gaza is being actively genocided and the only thing that is now clear to be helping them is YOUR silence. YOUR apathy. They have nothing to hold on to but this.
