It’s me!!! I light up when you text me!! I’ve got friends I hear from daily, group chats that light up with the most ridiculous content (the clams), some people I hear from monthly, I get voice notes from a pal that updates me whenever he is on his way to Costco (ily Mike), a friend that just called me last night and we talked for four hours after not having chatted for 5 months (ur the best nick), and honestly each time someone reaches out I am thrilled. My family group chats are always bumping though - so lucky to wake up to “good morning fam” all the time. Just random I love yous. It’s all so important for me. So thank you!!! I told the adoption agency I wanted an extroverted high energy running buddy and I got the chillest introverted pup with severe arthritis. They say you don’t get the dog you want but the dog you need. He’s kept me measured for years, slowing me down when I needed it, bringing me joy endlessly and I would adopt him again 1000xs over. Feeling super stressed about his recent sickness and hoping it’s not an anything more serious. We are seeing some improvements but my anxiety is through the roof. Gosh. by @haralein

I know I expressed wanting an apartment the other day on my story a bit flippantly (in relation to wanting a blender lol) but I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been thinking about it for a while now. I’m coming up on 4 years in the van and while I love this lifestyle, it can be overwhelming at times. I miss consistent physical community and living at Denali Air has reminded me of that. I’m not rushing to sign a lease or anything any time soon, but I’m curious what it would be like to slow down more and be less geographically inconvenient. Any location recs?? by @haralein

Wait - did I tell you I did a THING? (lol) I bought a plane!!! (well half - the other half is owned by @abreegrace_ ). I’m so excited to adventure in a whole new way in this lil machine. I don’t have my license yet so that’s the next step, but I’ll get there eventually. Well, hopefully - gosh I’m anxious about that or using all of my emergency funds to buy this sucker will have been in vain. It’s scary to do something so expensive and so new. I just don’t want to fail! BUT if I do, that’s okay. But I won’t. Right? Very honored that Abree would jump into this with me and thankful that she is a stellar CFI! So lucky to have a great partner in plane. Feeling very grateful I am able to do stuff like this - so many life decisions lead me here and I’m proud of myself! by @haralein
