“I diverge”

while drawing this portrait, the ink dripped perfectly along the page like a path. A beautiful moment that redirected me <3 by @harcherstudios

hi ☺️ I was shown this quote recently and it inspired me to get back to designing for myself. With being a designer in school and my career, it’s been easy to get swallowed up in creation for other people all the time-the school projects or client deadlines.

I never want to forget why I became an artist in the first place-its how I understand myself and the world, it always has been.

I often feel this pressure of needing a purpose to create-how can this boost my career, make more money, become successful…

And the purpose doesn’t lie in the outcome of the creation, it lies in the act itself.

Anyways, it’s great to be back I missed this hehe☺️ this is “consume” taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @harcherstudios
