HARDTHROB 9 - WARM LEATHERETTE
22 AUG TUFF CLUB - 11PM TILL LATE. WE F**KED with the space so your favourite installations are still intact.

It’s time to get material obsessed. The bite of leather and the heavy cling of warm leatherette against your moist skin as it melts from the warmth of your dancing bodies. But the obsession does not end there. Bring on the rest of the synthetics, and let the suffocating grip of PVC, the friction of vinyl, and the slick trap of polyurethane vacuum-seal to your juices.

PAUL WOLSCH @paulwolsch returns to HARDTHROB, alongside LOYBOY @l0yb0y , 3MZY @3mzym30w and SHO&TELL @sherylsho @haute_encounters on decks.

STRICT KINK DRESS CODE:
Leather, Faux Leather, Vegan Leather, Pleather, PVC, PU, or Vinyl. Classic kink wear is also permitted: Latex, metal, lace, drag, bondage, uniform, nylon. If it’s built for play, it’s in.
Dress up or stay out. No exceptions.
Strictly Enforced.
Failure to adhere will be denied entry.

SHOP YOUR GEAR AT HEDONIST @hedonisttribe

This time @durio.rene represents @hard.throb to open for the @gegenberlin boys @mar__us and @boycamusic_ !

DURIO

A genre-bending force behind the decks, Durio moves effortlessly across House, Disco, Techno and deeper bass territories. A familiar name on the local club circuit from Jungle Ballroom to Behind The Green Door and CÉ LA VI. She’s also the creative force behind TABOO, curating immersive, boundary-pushing experiences both on and off the decks. by @hard.throb

This Sat, @boycamusic_ from @gegenberlin joins @mar__us headlining @hard.throb x @gegenberlin with @durio.rene and @isseysim and @xervixia_ representing Singapore.

BOYCA

Boyca’s sound hits like a fast-paced, concrete séance. As a queer, Swiss-born DJ, producer and fixture from Gegen Berlin, Miro Lopasso channels the transformative hypnotism of the underground into something relentlessly physical. His sets are designed with a writhing mass of bodies in mind, leaving the floor sweat-drenched, strobe-lit and charged with raw physicality.

Over the years, Boyca has steadily transfigured a thunderous industrial core into a functional, sexy and floor-driven framework. Carving out his own distinct pocket of queer club space where distortion meets devotion, his gritty sound cycles through frenzied drum machine sequences and heaving atmospheres. Unafraid to push boundaries, he anchors his music in a granular Hardgroove, treating the club exactly as it should be experienced: as a raw, uncompromising ritual of transformation. by @hard.throb

@mar__us from @gegenberlin plays at @hard.throb this saturday (18 April) alongside @boycamusic_ , @durio.rene with special appearances by @xervixia_ and @isseysim

Mar/us [ he/they ]

Gegen Berlin resident and part of the core team, Mar/us is a sonic architect, crafting hard
and fast techno beats that propel listeners into the deepest realms of self-discovery.
In the heart of Berlin’s techno underworld, Mar/us doesn’t merely play music; they
orchestrate a liberating and hedonistic atmosphere where sexuality and self-expression
collide in an electrically charged dance of liberation. Their beats are not just heard but felt
on a visceral level, fostering an atmosphere where inhibition dissolves, boundaries blur
and the dancefloor resonates with the liberating power of music and movement. by @hard.throb

ESTABLISH CONTACT.

howrøng (@howr0ng) reports for duty. As the force behind Bussy Temple and the host of DeconSEAS, they have shared stages with heavyweights like LSDXOXO and the Herrensauna residents.

They bring a bag full of music from South East Asian boundary pushers like Tzusing and rEmPiT g0dDe$$. It is an eclectic, ecstatic journey through experimental techno designed to create a shared rave moment.

Get your kit together in camouflage, tactical gear, rubber, lace or polished leather.

WE ARE DEPLOYING.

We are deploying Jamie React (@jamie.react) to the front lines of MDLR by THUGSHOP. As the boss of TropicLab and a key force behind Midnight Shift, he has spent years shaping the Singapore underground from Headquarters to Tuff Club.

He brings a sound that settles on a harder percussive groove. Expect broken beats mixed with deep atmospheric synths and thundering crescendos that hit with serious weight.

Report for duty in your best camouflage, tactical gear, rubber, lace, or polished leather.

For the final HARDTHROB of 2025, we mobilized Nino Blink (@ninoblink) to take command of MDLR by THUGSHOP. Founder of Creepy Finger Records, a Beatport #1 chart-topper, and a weapon of choice for legends like Richie Hawtin, Pan Pot, and Terry Francis, Nino is heavy artillery!

From the main rooms of Fabric and Time Warp to the dust of Burning Man, his sound is battle-tested. Now he is drilling us with the same precision techno that made him a staple at Club 69.
