At the age of 16, I was diagnosed with agoraphobia and anxiety, which spiraled into deep depression and suicidal thoughts that have lingered for 12 years. Despite my ongoing struggles, I had a difficult time sharing my feelings, even with my closest friends, as I feared being seen as weak. I lived behind a brave facade while grappling with the limitations of my condition, missing out on the typical joys of my 20s, like holidays and playing away football matches going on night outs with friends. The past six months have brought both minor and major setbacks, but I’m determined to stay on the road to recovery. My goal is to help others who are struggling—encouraging them to reach out instead of battling their demons alone. I don’t seek pity or different treatment; I simply want to share my journey and help others find their strength.

Chapter 30, We Thank God. 🎉🙏🏾

I never imagined I’d be walking into 30 carrying so much grief and Heartache. The end of last year and the beginning of this year brought some of the hardest moments of my life, losing two of the closest people to me. There were days I couldn’t see a way forward.

But God has carried me through. Watching my family and closest friends progress in life getting married, having kids, and reaching new milestones and having a new job myself to look forward to in September has reminded me that even after the darkest seasons, there’s still hope.

Christmas 2025 🎄
Such a good day surrounded by my favorite people.

Got to FaceTime my grandma who was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year — and for her to recognise me was truly a blessing ❤️
