Congratulations to senior biomedical engineering major Bayli Nash and senior mechanical engineering major Jonathan Townsley who successfully presented their honors theses last week!
Bayli’s thesis is titled “Investigating the Synthesis and Antibacterial Activity of a Main-Chain Cationic Polymer.” Her mentor is Dr. Lance Gibson. Jonathan’s thesis is titled “CryoClean Ventilation.” Bayli and Jonathan are on track to graduate with Honors College Distinction in May!

✨ What a great day for one of our Waldron Center student teams! 🥇🏆

Yesterday, the Roo Pouch team represented Harding University at the Arkansas Governor’s Cup Collegiate Business Plan Competition and achieved an outstanding victory, winning 1st Place in the 2026 Undergraduate High Growth/Technology Division and 1st place in the Elevator Pitch Award!

We want to say thank you to everyone who showed up to the event and to those who encouraged, supported, and affirmed this team throughout their journey.
