We have uncovered a large amount of photographs from the 1970s and will be featuring images from this decade throughout the week. We invite you to share any personal anecdotes or photographs you may have from this era.

Today's images are from the 1969-1970 yearbook and the 1970-1971 yearbook.

As we celebrate the 75th anniversary of Harding Bands, we aim to raise $75,000, and thanks to generous anonymous donors, every gift will be matched dollar for dollar. Together, we can transform $75,000 in gifts will become $150,000 for Harding Bands.

Funds raised will purchase needed equipment, support recruiting and create more opportunities for current and future students to engage with other musicians in performance as we carry forward Harding’s 75-year band tradition.

For 75 years, Harding Bands have given generations of students a place to perform, build friendships, grow in confidence and belong. At the same time, they have enriched the campus and community through outstanding musical performances. Your gift celebrates that legacy and helps carry it forward.
