Everybody wants to impress their date… until somebody tests them in front of her.

Dinner just got uncomfortable. Watch this scene from PUSHED BACK and tell me—at what point would you have gotten up from that table? 🍽️🎬 🤔 #IWroteIt #DerrickJ #indiefilmmaking #houston by @hardlinelegacystudios

Don’t get it confused same smile, same confidence. Always got to a bag. A nigga always kept himself up but the hurt and questions was different. Drive & motivation was always top tier. But the questions remain. Now I can give two shits cause I know my strength and worth. I don’t play about me. I had my share of the dressed up devil and users. I got wiser. My focus is different. You can’t me in a box I can touch whatever I want and make noise. I bet on ME. Anytime. by @hardlinelegacystudios

They say don’t question God 🥹. But Why does bad things happen to good people. Hakeem gave the love he deserved. Man Im a miss our conversations and me getting on yo ass 👊🏽. You’re free now. A huge THANK YOU to Kevin and the entire staff at Da Town Bar & Lounge from the cast and crew of CONCRETE! 🎬🖤

Kevin opened his doors early for us to rehearse, run lines, and prepare—and treated us with nothing but love, patience, and genuine hospitality. No rushing. No hassle. No aggravation. Just great energy and a complete vibe.

Great food. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Even better people.

Kevin, you and your staff were on point from top to bottom, and we truly appreciate you supporting what we’re building. I would recommend Da Town Bar & Lounge to anyone looking to do business, host an event, or simply enjoy a great atmosphere.

Much love and respect from Derrick J, Hardline Legacy Productions, and the entire CONCRETE family.

Community supporting community. That’s what it’s about. 💯🎬

Our anniversary weekend owes us NOTHING! 🥂❤️

@hardlinelegacystudios and I had such an amazing time celebrating US‼️ Laughing, enjoying each other’s company, and making memories that I’ll cherish forever. There’s nothing like getting away from the everyday routine and simply enjoying life with your favorite person.

Two years of love, growth, lessons, laughter, and choosing each other through it all. ❤️ I’m grateful for our journey and everything we continue to build together.

And yes… I’m bragging a little because MY MAN definitely made this anniversary one for the books! 😌🥂❤️

Here’s to more love, more memories, more adventures, and more reasons to celebrate US! 🥰
