You know about 3CR, Naarm’s home of radical radio but….

Did you know that 3CR is totally community owned and controlled?

Or that a CIA-funded rag wrote a hit piece on 3CR in an attempt to get it delicensed in the 70s?

Or that in 2020, VicPol pinpointed 3CR as a site for surveillance by their new helicopters... instead of just turning on the radio?

For 50 years, 3CR has stood steadfast as a radical platform for communities and voices overlooked and absent in mainstream media. Come, get in early and help raise some funds for this years’ Radiothon and learn some things that you might not have heard before about the station of the people.

Hear from:

There will be a by-donation patch and shirt printing station (BYO shirts and material, black ink only), merch and plenty of ways to donate through cash or card, and donations are tax deductible for those that care. All funds raised at this event will be divideed between the programs of the speakers.

Head to @naarmfrontlinemedics to grab tix and get in quick!!

……..

Do you possess an almost medically concerning knowledge of pop culture, history, music, film or TV? Do you enjoy beer, prizes, and that warm and fuzzy feeling of supporting mutual aid? Do you like loudly insisting you should have known that answer?

Well, do we have an event for you…

Come on down to support of your friendly local street medic collective at Naarm Frontline Medics’ inaugural trivia night. Funds raised will be split between NFM and the Dhadjowa Foundation.

Bring your smartest mates. Bring your slightly less smart mates for moral support. Bring that one friend who always says “wait, I know this one” to every dang question.

Come for the trivia. Stay because you’re emotionally invested in finally having the opportunity to put your esoteric knowledge of Mark Whalberg’s third nipple to good use.

📍 @hardout___ 670 Plenty Road, Preston 📅 Friday 29th May 2026 🕖 6:30pm 💸 Tickets $20 @ https://events.humanitix.com/nfm-trivia (link in bio)

Places are limited, so get your tickets today!

🏆 Prizes include: 🍺 Beer 🎨 Original artwork 👕 Merch pack 🎁 And other things we have definitely not forgotten to organise yet by @hardout___
