Thanks to the highlands for being an immensity to dream in and to @jamie_greenmount_lamigobay for another magic week of writing and making music. by @harkathon

Bank Holiday beauty with Melissa, Vanessa, Virginia, white cliffs and The Long Man. Congratulations musician, author and old friend Melissa Auf der Maur @xmadmx for letting me tag along in your world since I was 17. This time to the most well behaved festival I have ever encountered at Charleston, a house of beauty, art and family. @charlestontrust by @harkathon

Thanks to all involved in the outrageously fun week or so I just spent in the PCNW, a home from home with the best of the best. @sleater_kinney @angie_boylan @toko__okot #shrimpsisbugs by @harkathon

I leapt like a salmon at the chance to write in the highlands for a week. More on that soon hopefully. I also wept in awe at the salmon actually leaping (last slide) by @harkathon

💞V-Day Clearout, I’m in a book and other misc promotional screenshots…

Treat your lover / friend / other to something from the US merch store, (link upstairs) prices start at five bucks because it’s time for a spring clean! There’s some ten dollar vinyl too. Yowza.
There is a lot of music clogging up my head at the moment that I am endeavouring to get out, but til that happens, we gotta clear this shit out first.

Also, in completely unrelated news, I’m in ‘Band People’, a book about the trials and tribulations of being a working music. Thanks to Franz for including me and for collecting all these experiences. Apologies for the late shout out, but I’ve been reading a lot of board books recently.

So proud to talk to the @guardian about my girls alongside some wonderful artists.
Thank you @nellfrizzell for a very considerate conversation and to @sandscharity for all the help they gave to us and continue to provide to so many other families. Please consider supporting them if you can.
