Today I’m going to have a good time💓
I’m going to amplify myself,
I’m going to fade away
Nothing stops me
Nothing that can hold me back
I’m a frequency with a million megahertz

(…)To sink into the sand
Beneath the laughter of the sea
To become a sleepwalker,
and never repeat yourself again

Today I’m going to crucify
All the lies that float out at sea
I carry a star on my shoulder and lightning comes out of me(..)
Don’t be afraid to fly
Nothing is going to hurt you
Glider of the soul💫

In the heat of the moment, I chose this book in Portuguese, only to be reminded seconds later that I’m never going to be able to read this edition🤭 So I’m dropping it here for anyone who reads Portuguese and may want it.
A fascinating collection of poems, signed not only by Pessoa but also by the alter-ego poets he created. They are not simply pseudonyms, but distinct personalities, each with their own biography, temperament, and poetic voice. A little pocket edition to enter Pessoa’s universe.
📚I’ll be looking for a Spanish or English edition to have in our library soon. by @harkernat

This Friday!! The words return to the room in a special collab with @certifiedgroovers 🖤
A few weeks ago, poetry took over the space through visual soundscapes, technology, and interactive installations, transforming words into a new experience.
Huge thanks to @agora.dtla for hosting us, to @p.a_l_interactive for the visuals, and to Boris Collage @skyriverrs for the immersive sound design that made the night unforgettable. And special thanks to everyone who shared their poems and voices with us that night.
Now we’re back for another round of live poetry and open mic before the evening drifts into grooves and dance.
📝Want to read? DM us to join the open mic. Limited spots available. Link in bio. by @harkernat

This Friday, March 20, we gather for a Poetry Pop-Up Night in celebration of World Poetry Day!! This time, we come together in a new and amazing space, a secret location in the Arts District, DTLA, opening its doors to share our voices.
We celebrate the night with late-night words, verses over beats, and an open mic for anyone who feels the call to speak.
… Because we all have something to say,
and something to say to each other. A safe space for expression, creation, and raw voices.
Open mic • Call for poets & readers!!
🕗 8PM — Late. Link in bio for RSVP.

📝 This date means something to us. Years ago, on a March 21, a simple book swap and reading sparked a gathering that slowly grew into a movement around words…
Today, that movement is LA Underground Poetry 🖤

Our last poetry gathering was truly special 🖤 Poetry in Motion became a space where poetry met the digital, where words blended with technology, and artificial intelligence translated our readings into images… a night where language moved beyond the page and found new forms.
Thanks to @p.a_l_interactive for creating this technological playground for poetic exploration🤖 and to all the readers and poets who shared their voices that night. And of course, to my beloved @theangelssden for being the perfect stage for an LA Underground Poetry night.
📝Next poetry night coming soon.
Prepare your readings!!
