Things I do when I’m bored:

1. Dance by sea with the sun as my spotlight

I remember I rode my bike super uphill to this secluded beach on the opposite side of the island… then I had to hitchhike back with some farmers because I got a flat riding back 🤣 good times

Recap of #medellin #colombia🇨🇴

The best part about traveling solo is that I’m forced out of my comfort zone and I have to put myself out there in order to make new friends and allies if I want to be safe and thrive in this entirely new continent where I don’t fluently speak the language and don’t know a single soul before getting here. So exciting!

All my skills are put to the test when filtering out who to trust and who to avoid. A successful solo trip means that I have as many beautiful experiences as possible and coming back home all in one piece with a plethora of unforgettable memories, new friends and fun souvenirs!

It’s time to fully embrace the moment because I’ve already done the planning, anticipating and hard work that led up to this great adventure abroad!

Horseback riding for the first time with my lovely horse Palomo 🥹🥰 It was one of the most enchanting experiences of my life—top 10!

We trotted along the Amazonian trails embellished with exotic plants and flowers, galloped among flying birds and butterflies, and climbed to the top of the mountain for the most magnificent view.

My inner thighs and pelvic bone was so bruised and brittle by the end of the 2 hour trek but worth every second! It was the most liberating experience of being in nature and surrounded by beauty. I want to go faster next time!

I’ve high-key allowed myself to everything I’ve ever wanted. Thanks to my mom and dad, they gave me everything they had, sacrifices and all. They made me feel deserving of everything I desire. Because of that, I understand what true love means and I keep my standards high. My dad is the ultimate essence of a provider and my mom is the epitome of a nurturer.

The most important highlight of 2024 is having rekindled bonds with my parents. Redefining and restoring a new relationship with my parents as divine human beings—instead of just the roles they had to play when raising me as third-world country immigrants. They really did show me what unconditional love was and I’m so grateful to be brought into this world by such kind people.
