Today is Rare Disease Day.

This journey isn’t something I ever expected for my life. Behind the smiles and normal days, there have been hospital visits, endless testing, symptoms, setbacks, and moments where my body doesn’t cooperate the way I wish it would. Some days are hard. Some days are uncertain. But every day, I keep showing up.

I don’t let my rare diseases define me — but they’ve shaped me. They’ve taught me strength I didn’t know I had, deeper faith, patience, and gratitude for the good days.

Right now, I’m continuing my fight for answers and specialized care at Vanderbilt, holding onto hope and trusting the process.

To anyone fighting a battle that others can’t see — you’re not alone. I’m forever praying for everyone walking a similar path. ❤️
