if you were to tell me five years ago on my first day of camp that this is how my last year of camp would have ended i would not have believed you, and i probably would’ve laughed at you. When I went to camp for the first time I won’t lie, I didn’t get what was so great about it, but my mom made me go back the next year and the next year after that, and I am so beyond grateful that she did. My second year at camp I had the privileged to have a counselor who became someone so important I cannot imagine not having her in my life. My last three years were some of the most amazing weeks of my life, I have made friendships that I would’ve never imagined, and have met two of my best friends. I have made countless memories and friends. this last week has truly been so so amazing and i cannot believe that it was my last year. Camp has made me a better friend, sister, and person. I would not be the person that I am without Camp Foster. I am going to miss camp and the people who make camp the place that it is so so incredibly much.
