Houston ‘26
This week left us exhausted in every way. Early mornings, late nights, and full hearts. There were moments when we were running on empty, but every smile, every conversation, every child we met reminded us why we were there. God showed up in ways we’ll never forget.
The exhaustion fades, but what He did through us and in us will stay forever.
“Our hearts all beat as one.” ❤️ No matter where we came from or where we’re going next, this week brought us all together to love people the way Christ loves us. So thankful for every person I served alongside and every life that impacted mine.

From beginning to end I had one thing set in my mind and it was to serve these kids.

We spent the week serving kids, pouring into them with love, games, laughter, tears, and the message of Jesus and honestly, they ended up blessing me more than I could have ever imagined. One of the most powerful parts of the trip was getting to share my testimony with our group. Opening up like that reminded me how God uses our stories even the hard parts to bring others closer to Him.

Throughout the trip, I kept seeing this truth so clearly: Every moment, every challenge, every blessing is part of a bigger picture we can’t always see. I left Houston full not just physically, but spiritually.

So grateful for the family that I am now apart of, and sharing the most Godly and heartfelt moments with these people, and the kids we loved on, and the way God moved through me every single day. This week reminded me that service isn’t just something we do it’s a way we live. “there’s no waste at the alter.” by @harper_harrell_
