TUTORIAL: How I did this glam wet look. I can tell that I used nearly one bottle of @sebastianpro_official Texturizer. Also Re-Shaper was my hero product for this look. More is more! #avantgardehair #hairtutorials #sebastianinsiders by @harriakerberg
EVERYONE CAN BE EDITORIAL — EP. 02 Virpi dreamed of becoming a model when she was younger, but back then traditional height standards made her feel like that world simply wasn’t for her. At 58, she finally stepped in front of the camera for her first editorial shoot. Sometimes dreams don’t disappear. They just wait. What a masquerade! Thank you @noiresocietyfi making cool event like this! My mask was made with 300 pieces of pearls and rhinestones. I can tell you that I had fun to remove later 😂 #masquerade #noiresociety by @harriakerberg
Soft French bob with a little flick. 🍂 Natural movement, soft shape and a rich autumn brunette — polished, but never too done. Color: @wellahair Color Touch 5/71 + 6/7 with 4%, roots to ends. #FrenchBob #BrunetteHair #ColorTouch #WellaProfessionals #shorthair by @harriakerberg
EVERYONE CAN BE EDITORIAL — EP. 01 I created this series for people who haven’t always seen themselves represented in fashion or editorial imagery — people who may have been overlooked because of age, scars, appearance or traditional model standards. Ina almost didn’t apply. She told me that sometimes all she sees are her scars. I didn’t want to hide them or turn her into someone else. The idea was to build the hair, makeup, styling and entire image around who she already is — and give her the space to step into an editorial world. And she completely owned it. Maybe being editorial isn’t about fitting the standard. Maybe it’s about being seen differently. #editorialhair #sebastianinsiders #wellahair #wellapassionistas by @harriakerberg

A few new faces here lately, so here’s the short version of me. Hair artist. Salon owner. Visual thinker. Usually somewhere between a shoot, a stage, a salon — or my garden. A few facts: – I’ve won quite a few hair awards along the way, including Nordic Hairdresser of the Year – I shoot most of my own competition and collection work – Joni is my husband, business partner, fellow hairdresser, educator — and probably my most important sparring partner – I’ve somehow become a serious garden nerd – I live with two cats, Tossu & Töppönen – and I always have more ideas than time Hair, image-making, people, beauty, chaos and creativity. That’s pretty much the world I love to live in. by @harriakerberg
