Sometimes, stepping back is the most powerful move forward. This year, I took 5 months off from traveling and teaching to prioritise my health and wellbeing. While I missed doing what I love, I embraced the slower pace and found strength in the pause.

Returning to education with the #balayagetour in Portugal & Spain reminded me just how much I love being in a room full of passionate hairdressers—there’s nothing like that energy. Sharing, learning, and growing together is what fuels me.

A huge thank you to my @lorealpro family for your unwavering support this year & to everyone who was part of this tour. Grateful to be back, balanced, and inspired 🖤

#nobleach highlights is all about creating subtle lightness in the hair without using bleach.
Today we used Majirel highlift tint neutral and then toned with Dia light to create this beautiful tone.

This trip felt very full circle…
From meeting Sean 9 years ago on my first trip to South Africa, to heading back out all these years later to create two days of tailored education for his team at Swept Hair.

Thank you so much Sean for inviting us out, welcoming us into your home and your salon and being such an amazing host. I loved spending time with your team, getting to know how they work, sharing ideas and doing some really good hair together.

There’s something so special about stepping inside a salon and creating education around the team, their clients and what they actually want to work on.

I’ve been working on this trend with L’Oréal Pro this year, helping to launch it in NYC and Bangkok to 13 different countries, and I’m excited to finally start sharing more on here…

So who is NO BLEACH for?

Clients who are cautious about bleach, new to colour, or simply want to enhance what they already have rather than completely transform it.

The new NO BLEACH lightening cream isn’t available in the UK, but the trend absolutely is and on the right canvas, tint and high-lift tint can create NO BLEACH results too.

This isn’t about replacing bleach. It’s about having more options behind the chair and choosing the right one for the client in front of us.

There isn’t one perfect career path, and there definitely isn’t overnight success.

Looking back, the biggest opportunities in my career came from saying yes before I felt ready, stepping outside of my comfort zone, adapting when things didn’t go to plan, and learning something from every single opportunity along the way.

Every experience teaches you something, and every challenge gives you another tool to take into the next opportunity.

I loved sharing my approach to creative colour with the #IDTEAM on Tuesday 💖
