💞 MEET THE BOOKSTAGRAMMER 💞

In celebration of surpassing 600 followers, I thought it’d be nice to share a little bit more about myself with you, so consider this your user-friendly Beginner’s Guide to Harriet 😜

In the week and a half since I’ve made my account, I’ve been absolutely floored by how sweet and welcoming the entire bookstagram community has been. I set up this account with the goal of curating my own cosy little corner of the internet—one where I could spread kindness and positivity, as well as connect with fellow book lovers—and you guys have really helped make that a reality 🥹

I can’t wait to continue getting to know you guys! So, what do you think? Let me know how much we have in common in the comments! 🩷

🩵 TAKE WHAT YOU NEED 🩵

Which one(s) are you taking? Me, I’m going with “all of the above” 🤭

I hope everyone’s having a lovely week! ☺️ I must admit, it’s a bit of a rocky one for me. Things have been quite tough lately physically and mentally, and I’m definitely feeling the toll, y’know? But the good news is the weekend is only around the corner, and I’m excited because I’m spending time with my sister on Saturday and that’s sure to lift my spirits! 🩵✨

⭐️ BOOKS I’VE RATED 5 STARS IN 2026 ⭐️

A look at all the books I’ve rated 5 stars this year, plus some honourable mentions for a few books that juuuust missed out and got a 4.75—how many of them have you read?

I know we still have a few months left in 2026, but it was so much fun to look back on the year so far and count up how many books I’ve rated 5 stars! I don’t know about you guys, but I’d say 26/84 is a pretty solid ratio 🥰 A few of them were rereads of old favourites (Emily Henry is never getting less than 5 stars from me 😝), but the majority were new to me and definitely helped me discover some new favourite authors 💛

QOTD: How many books have you rated 5 stars this year? What have been your favourites? ⭐️

Just a little look at some of the tropes I can never resist! What are some of your faves? 💞

As you can see, I’m a total softie—give me cosy, heartwarming fluff and you’ll have one happy reader 🥰

Happy Thursday! 🧡 I recently treated myself to some wax melts from @wildraceco, and once they arrived I realised they matched my two most recent reads too perfectly for me not to snap a picture 🤭

As you can see, I’m still going hard on the cosy autumnal reads, and now that it’s October, I’m sprinkling in some witchy vibes too.
Have any of you read either of these books? I have to say, I loved both! Take A Chance, Sasha Sinclair was an especially fun read, and it’s officially my favourite of the Clover Lake series. I just love Sasha as a protagonist so much 🥹🫶

QOTD: What’s on your October TBR? Are you going more spooky, sticking with the cosy vibes, or aiming for a bit of both? 🍂

Besties, we are getting FED in 2027 😌💁‍♀️

Just when I thought the year couldn’t get any more stacked, Julie Olivia announced yesterday that we’ll be returning to Copper Run next autumn with Since You’ve Been Gone! It really is shaping up to be the most incredible year 🥹🫶

And these are honestly just the tip of the iceberg—so tell me, what are YOUR most anticipated 2027 releases?

(also for my UK book besties—Champagne Problems is currently 50% off and only £5.49 on Amazon rn if you want to preorder it 👀)

A little pop of colour for your Sunday 🌈🩷

How’s everyone doing today? Apologies for being AWOL the past couple of days! I had a busy day yesterday and then I’ve been experiencing a flare up today so I haven’t really been on my phone too much.

I did manage to get a little bit of reading done today though 📚 I’ve just started my second witchy read of the autumn season, Meet Cute Magic, and I’m so excited for it! What about you guys? What are you reading at the moment? 🥰

🍂 SEPTEMBER READING WRAP-UP 🍂

How on earth are we already into the last three months of 2026? 😭 I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by!

Even though I didn’t get as much reading done as July/August, September was a great reading month for me; I managed to tick off four of my autumn hopefuls (and am currently reading a fifth 👀), struck gold with three 5 star reads in a row, and managed to hit 80 books read for the year with my last book of the month! 🥰

QOTD: What was your favourite September read? 🧡

BOOK: Then Until Forever
AUTHOR: Mase Evans
RELEASE DATE: October 6th 2026

TROPES:
🍁 Small town romance
🍁 Second chance
🍁 Slow burn
🍁 High school sweethearts
🍁 “It’s always been you”
🍁 He falls first

This was a really cute, easy autumnal read! It’s fairly short, and the story moves quickly, so it’s definitely one you could fly through in an afternoon if you wanted to. You can tell that the author wanted to capture the cosy, comforting feel of autumn in her writing, and I definitely think she achieves that—reading it feels like the book equivalent of catching up with an old friend over coffee: warm and familiar.

There’s a natural ease to the interactions between Jax and Avery; their banter doesn’t feel forced at all, and you can really believe there’s a history there. I will say that for a romance book, it’s quite light on the actual romantic content, as both characters spend the majority of the story quietly pining, but nonetheless, I thought there were more than enough sweet moments to have me buying into their chemistry.

Overall, I enjoyed my time in Maple Brook, and if you’re looking for a quick and cosy read this autumn, Then Until Forever, definitely fits the bill.

Thank you again to @beyondthebookspr and @evans_mase for the advance copy and the opportunity to review this book. I can’t wait for everyone to meet Avery and Jax on October 6th 🤎

⭐️ ONE STAR REVIEWS OF SOME OF MY FIVE STAR READS ⭐️

I don’t agree with a single one but I can’t say they didn’t make me laugh 🤣
