POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Here it is — the first teaser poster and title reveal for my film, “From Walou.”

A project that has lived in my heart for years. Without a doubt, the most personal thing I’ve ever created.

It’s one of many stories I’ve carried with me — stories I’ve lived, witnessed, been inspired by, and felt the need to tell. Stories told from the perspective of the people I come from, the people of Sandžak.

Maybe, in its own way, this will be the first film of its kind to come out of Novi Pazar. A new genre where Sevdalinka is not only our ancient traditional music, but becomes a visual language of its own.

Even the title is deeply personal. My older brother @isamb_official has had a huge influence on me, and the stories within his songs have shaped me in ways that are difficult to put into words.

Thanks to my brothers @kaissetti @harris_ramic @haris_secerovic @happy_pixel for believing in this project. To my fam, my day ones. And thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey and continues to walk this path with me.

More information coming very soon, inshaAllah 🤲🏼 taken in Novi Pazar Sandžak by @harris_ramic
