HERE WE GO: For the past 6 months, I’ve been working on this EP Moments In Time. It’s be fun,challenging and ultimately rewarding hearing the final product last night.

I’m really happy and proud of what’s been created. I don’t think many people understand how much goes into making songs. I spend hours and hours writing the thing. To which it may sit in my phone for a while. Some songs on the EP I wrote a year ago, maybe more. Then producing is a whole different ball game! From start to finish that’s what…1.5 years give or take? Pretty crazy to think about it like that.

ANYWAYS. Usually the next step would be to come up with a roll out plan- release a song every month which I will still do eventually. It just takes time and it’s a one man band over here so it takes even more time ;)

BEFORE any of that happens , I thought it would be a great idea to chuck the whole project into band camp where you can buy it and download the files for $12AUS. That way you don’t have to wait for me to do the whole rollout process AND you support me directly which lets me make more music. Because as we know, Spotify pays someone around .0003 cents per stream… I’m really doing this for the love of the game haha.

At the very least you can head over there and hear the first song “In My Head” and then decide.

No hard feelings waiting for it to be on streaming either, I just wanted to let you know that you have options!

This is where I’ve been for the last few weeks. Probably a few more as well. Been practicing alot for Airlie Beach Music Festival.
-
Here’s something I find comical. I’ll practice a section or song. Come back next day, run it through and still mess up that part or bit. 4 hours for nothing it feels like at the time. Yet I know how this works. Keep practicing and let go once you’re up there. Usually works out alright :)

It’s as if I have to trick my brain into not gearing up for a part I really want to nail so i actually do nail it?!… surely I’m not alone on that one!

Dusting off the cobwebs. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from guitar and come back to it fresh. Not stuck in the usual patterns or things I’d normally play. A new perspective

El Camino - St Jean to Finsterra - about 880k on foot. Saying that out loud still seems crazy after completing it!

Despite the Kms, the people I’ve met and the shared experiences of this awesome pursuit make it a memory I’ll never forget.
-
My legs are sore but strong and even though it’s hiking, this has got my psyched on ultras again. Definitely will sign up for one when I’m back home.

I’d love to find a scale and see how much weight I’ve lost. The only sign I have were people I ran into two weeks after I met them saying I was smaller! I guess 30k days will do that to you, and that’s ok with me :) by @harrisoncramond
