Graduation ‘23

It fills me with great pride that I can call myself an official Auburn man. I have been thinking about this moment for a long time and now it is finally here. I would not be here today without the support of my family and friends. They are the best support system I could ask for and I am truly blessed by them. They are proof that no one achieves anything alone.

I have learned a lot of lessons during my tenure here, primarily that “this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work”. This first line of the Auburn Creed is one that is essential to being an Auburn man and is something that has applied to me many times over. However, the most important principle in the creed is “doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God”. This is how I have tried to live as an Auburn man and it is how I plan to live for the rest of my life. It is the way God calls us to live.

I am so thankful for these past four years with the things I have experienced, lessons learned, memories made, and great people I have met along the way. All of it has shaped me into the man I am today. It is because of this that I truly believe in Auburn and love it.
