This is a difficult post to share, and also emotional in so many ways!

After serving here in Gqeberha full-time at Maranatha Siyakatala Youth Centre for the past 13 years, having first been as a student volunteer in 2007, I have made the hardest decision to step-away from my role as Programme Manager and move back to the UK,

It has truly been the honour of my life to be part of Maranatha here in South Africa, and I am forever grateful for the opportunities afforded to me,

But of course, coming from the UK also means that I have my family commitments back home 🇬🇧 and that is where I am needed at this time,

I will also continue with our @maranatha_care UK charity overseas to help in fundraising for our wonderful children and young people, who I remain eternally proud of and inspired by! Past and present!

Maranatha has been simply the BEST organisation to work for, I have treasured memories for a whole lifetime, and am so proud of everything that has been achieved here. I look forward to seeing the continued growth of the organisation, and already look forward to my visits back to my second home!

And to this city, from my first arrival in PE, to departing Gqeberha next month, I can only thank you enough. The relationships formed here, the beautiful memories, the support I've always received - I cannot begin to put it in to words! Well here it is!!! I’m so excited to share with you my day at Buckingham Palace!!! 🎉

As part of being awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in The Queens Honours List, I had the extraordinary privilege of being invited to The Queens Garden Party, just in time for her Jubilee! 👑 Joined by my hero, my incredible Dad! 💛

I can’t thank everyone enough for the support they’ve given me in my ongoing journey of work with South African children and young people. I was so honoured to receive this medal 🏅 To be lucky enough to be here??? This is just one of the most amazing days of my life!!! We were hosted today by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (HRH Prince William and Kate 🫢)

The #bottomlessbrunch at @allbarone_newoxfordstreet was the BEST! 👏

The food, drinks and service were all absolutely incredible. Me and @khanyathomson had the time of our lives!

Isn't it amazing when you can be the best of friends from 16 through to present day! New chapters, new arrivals and always this constant 💛
