2025 was not a small year. The highlight was releasing a 1,352 page coffee table book unlike any other. “Defining Moments” is the culmination of 45 years chasing adventures across surf and snow. A huge thanks to Barton Lynch for his contribution to the stoke, the sport of surfing and his words in the “Defining Moments” book. I’d like to thank my Insta followers for their support over the years. I’ve just “re-attained” 5,000. It’s been a long journey to reach this milestone again, as I had close to double this up until someone hacked my account. As a professional photographer who specialises in producing quality action, lifestyle and landscape artwork, it’s greatly appreciated to receive support from people who visit the page, “Like” and “Share” the content like you all have done. I’ve been waiting patiently for a visit the U.S. in green season. Up till now It’s always been of a winter time for me, a time where snow abounds for as far as the eye can see, across the high mountains, prairies and plains. An early finish to the Australian winter season provided me the window and Teton Gravity Research the opportunity to showcase my “Defining Moments” book as a collab with their latest film “Actually, it’s Rocket Science” tour across North America. More on that in a future post. It’s been an awesome journey so far from California, across Nevada, veering north into Idaho and east into Wyoming. Biggest wave i’ve paddled for sure out at the Mav. This was my 1st wave of the day . Got it 10 min after paddling out . The thing just came straight to me. One of those waves you see way out and just know it’s coming straight to you. Scary but just needed to sack up 🤷‍♂️. Sort of got stuck in No Man’s Land after the bottom turn with nowhere to go 😂This was a classic day out on the water . Big , unruly Mavericks followed by a near miss on our boat with all the boys onboard . @healeywaterops bailing off the boat and boards and body’s sliding everywhere at the end of the day . Talk about a full adrenaline day . Pretty sure the @oldprincetonlanding copped a flogging that night as well 😂 Side note- i fractured my rib on that wave surfed all day and didn’t realize till the next day once everything wore off. The good old days lol. Thanks for being in the spot for the clip @harroart by @harroart
