Happy release day to the SINGULAR @mnek!

BULLDOZER!! has landed 💣

First and above all else, I’ve been an MNEK fanboy for a while. From rinsing his refixes from the myspace days, to meeting him in 2017 with the release of ‘Deeper’ with @housegospelchoir + @ritontime, which lead to connecting and creating with queer excellence at his beautifully curated writing camps @proudsound_ . Uzo is and always has been about this business. Ten toes down.

It’s been a real thrill to witness him not just step but BULLDOZE his way back into his artist bag with this album. “Unapologetic” gets used a lot these days but this body of work is the definition. In every crevice; writing, production and performance.

It was a dream come true to help realise the choir parts in THE WALL!! and WORLD DOESN’T HAVE TO BE SUCH A SCARY PLACE!!

Go run it up immediately 🔊 by @harrsnnn

September's House Perdiem with @harrsnnn is now up on #YouTube and #soundcloud and it's one of the most fun hours on the show 💃

Deep housey vibes into R&B at the end with no deck mishaps 😆 Massive thanks to @harrsnnn for coming and to @blooplondon for having us. Back next month with a lovely special guest 😈

Tracks are, in order (I think):

1. Climax (Remix) - Smooth & Simmonds, just such a deep house classic I've been playing everywhere
2. So Good (Heat Mix) - @gennaro.music, another fave from 2 years ago released on @solidgroovesuk, groovy track that never fails
3. Say Yes (Jumpster Extended Remix) - @beatsbyhand ft. Rona Ray, such a sick remix of a Floetry track, loved it the second Harry played it
4. Sunshine - @ammoavenue, love it, bouncy, feel good house
5. Closer Than Close (@mandezmusic edit) - Rosie Gaines, one of the best house edits of this track, hasn't left the USB for a while :P
6. Deep Field - @eira_haul , so good I played it three times on two radio shows :D off eira haul's Deep Rays EP released in May, this is easily my fave

See folks next month! Links are in bio by @harrsnnn

Last week in the early hours of Easter Saturday, I turned 34 doing what I love (i.e. occupying the very niche venn diagram between DJing and choir directing) and giving thanks for life by sweating it out with @housegospelchoir and a bunch of the best.

Tonight we go again for the love of Afro and Deep House with the brilliant @djhaze.house.garage @scratchclart @charisseec @harunajebak
